Kroger employees and management have THE WORST ATTITUDE of any grocery store in Granbury! Recently I bought a load of groceries there (my last from Kroger!). I was (and still am) dealing with severe back pain issues and it was all I could do to get my groceries out to my car. No one from Kroger offered to help me out. After unloading my cart, my back "caught" and I was hardly able to move. The nearest place to put the cart was 100 feet away, so I carefully pushed the cart into a grassy area next to my car so it wouldn't roll into another vehicle. Even this was a struggle. As I turned to enter my car, I hear a voice screaming at me from across the parking lot - "YOU CAN'T LEAVE THAT THERE! YOU HAVE TO MOVE IT!" It was a Kroger employee yelling at me! Everyone in the parking lot looked, and I was embarrassed. There were carts rolling all over the parking lot, but I took the time to place it where it couldn't roll, and I'm berated by a 16 year old kid? I was so mad I just got in my car and left. I called the store immediately to complain, and was connected to the manager, a very rude and nasty man named Victor Menchaca. Rather than apologize, Mr. Menchaca proceeded to defend his employee because he is "mentally disabled", and basically blamed ME for not putting the cart away where they wanted. Not so much as one iota of an apology, just more condescending attitude. If you enjoy being treated like trash, by all means...
Read moreExtremely rude management at the new Kroger store in Granbury. I use to frequent this store but due to my numerous encounters with angry, rude, and hostile management I have taken my business elsewhere. The way the managers carry themselves and their interactions with customers and employees is awful. On more than one occasion I have first hand seen a manager come to the register I was at and stop the cashier from working to yell at them for something they did right there in front of myself and a line of customers! I couldn't believe they did that publicly rather than pull them aside and calmly communicate their thoughts. I can only imagine how embarrassed that cashier felt & I later found out it was her very first day and they treated her that way! I have no respect for bullies and from my own observations and encounters Kroger had MANY bullies employees as managers at the new Granbury location. If I could give them 0...
Read moreIf there were an option to leave zero stars, i would!! I was recently at this store and had a distasteful exchange with a worker named ron. I was looking for the beauty care isle and went to him for help since that was the only person i had seen at the moment. to be honest i was a little bit put off by his demenor before talking to him, he looked like he was bothered to be there and wasn't welcoming at all! When i had asked him if the store had a certain brand of conditioner and where I can find the hair care section, he yelled at me and had a snippy attitude. He made me feel like i was inconvinencing him by asking him for help. Just nasty. Never have i thought there would be staff this unkind in a sweet little town as this! If i were manager, he would be FIRED!! What type of establishment allows workers to treat their customers in this manner? Not to mention how unkempt he is, no wonder why shoppers are...
