THIS PROPERTY HAS NO INSURANCE -SECURITY OFFICERS DICTATE & MANAGERS DO NOTHING WHEN YOU ARE HURT AS ITS UP TO THE SECURITY OFFICER SINCE THERE IS NO INSURANCE!!! Absolutely Pathetic... Public beware this place is unsafe!!!! I had to give a 1 star when really they deserve zero stars! The rooms are in disarray and are not safe and our child was hurt to the extent that a EMT had to come and the hotel engineer and they deem it unsafe. Once room was deemed unsafe as the bench tile in the shower was not even secured down for the bench in a handicap room, it was placed on the bench in the shower with the corners at a point like a razor blade that cut our child. We were moved from a 9th floor room by the elevator overlooking the bay to a different tower to floor 2, at the farthest end of the hotel to overlook the sewage treatment facility plant and a wall. Upon walking in the room the AC didnt work, spelled like mold and a wet animal. After calling downstairs again to complain of the room the front desk proceeded to put us on hold and kept saying this room is the same as the 1st room we were in. How is this the same, this room has a tub shower not a walk in shower and it looks at the sewage treatment plant not the water and last time I checked floor 9 is greater than floor 2. After back and forth (over a hour) they stated that they would move us to floor #4 and give a atrium view. Upon moving rooms again, we went to the front desk since no manager would come on the phone to discuss what they are gonna do to offer for the problems and compensation of the shenanigans. Annabelle Ramirez - Room Operations Mgr comes to the desk and states that she was calling security as I went down there to discuss these problems and she flat out stated they were not giving any type of compensation for all these problems and that they don't care to speak to me. I asked for the marriott customer complaint phone number she gives me the wrong number so I redialed it on speaker phone to prove my point. By this time, Cord Nethers (loss prevention officer) arrives to the front desk and proceeds to tell me that the hotel is NOT INSURED and they don't have a insurance company contact or phone number they can give me as its up to Cord and the security officers. Cord proceeds to tell me that another security officer by the name of Steve Cantrell will determine (loss prevention/ security) if they will offer any compensation. He also tells me that Dan Perkins (security & safety services) is his direct boss and determines all claims if anyone is hurt. As we all know in order to have a license in a state you have to prove that you have insurance. The fact that this establishment doesn't have insurance and treat customers the way that we have been treated is absolutely pathetic. I would also like to mention the ADA laws. This establishment is not compliant and doesnt care if you are handicapped. ALL items have pictures and videos to prove everything. To have a "manager" and a "security officer" tell me as a law abiding citizen these lies will not be tolerated! Proper authorities for the city will be notified and the attorney general's office will have a complaint on this establishment as this is not a way to do business and is illegal! At all costs - avoid this place as it's not safe and the security officers Cord Nethers, Dan Perkins, & Steve Cantrell are the governing individuals who dictate the fate of the so called insurance policy for this establishment. Not sure but I'm sure everyone reading this knows that "Security Officers" don't act as the investigator for the "INSURANCE" that was told the hotel doesn't have. These security officers have overstepped their boundaries as a "Security Officer" not a police officer not a insurance adjuster, a hourly paid security officer. I will also be requesting their registered license showing they are able to practice insurance as a registered insurance person since Cord stated the establishment doesnt have any insurance and its up to him and three others to do a full...
