We drove for 11 hours from Missouri to help our kids move. The first night we had problems with the keys getting into the room. No big deal, we figured it was being tired. I made reservations for a king size bed. We got a room with two queen size beds. No big deal. The next day we went and moved, came back very tired, fought the key again and all was good. We crashed! The next day we left and came back. Fought the key again to get into the room. Finally got into the room and there was no maid. No fresh bathroom towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap. No coffee the beds were not made and there was not a new liner for the ice bucket to have cold ice water. I paid $25 a day for a pet deposit. My dog does not bark. He sheds hair. I know, I clean my floors daily at home. They did not clean the room. I thought, okay, it's a holiday weekend. Maybe someone called in sick and they were short handed. Blew it off. We left the next day and came back and there was still no maid service. We had to go to the lobby for a cup of coffee two days in a row and the lobby was out of coffee! Had to ask them to make more coffee and wait. The day we were checking out, after we requested coffee in the lobby we could not get back in the room. It wasn't us, the lobby clerk tried too then called maintenance. OK, so the toilet is a vacuflush toilet and it's loud. If we got up to pee in the middle of the night we would shut the door trying not to wake each other up. No that didn't work because the darn door squeaked. To top it off the sink in the bathroom didn't drain! There is a very cute concrete table with concrete benches outside. The benches are unstable. Someone will get hurt some day if they don't stabilize it. They should put one of those ashtray bucket things there. I bet people would use it rather than throwing their cigarettes and beer bottle tops on the ground. That was never cleaned up the whole time we were...
Read moreBooked online and put my cc info in to hold the reservation as one normally does. I chose the pay when you get there option. However it charged my card midway thru the day prior to arrival. Little irritated as I wasn't going to use the same card to pay. No biggie. Room is paid right? Good to go. Fast forward to check in. Location is decent. Outside of the busy city center but still loud next to busy roads. No place to pull in yo check in. You have to park wherever you can find a spot and walk to check in. We didnt get there until 11pm and I was tired. Ok...whatever I'll walk half a block to check in. The front desk - I handed the gal my license and cc as I know thats normally protocol to verify the physical cc. My phone dings. Alerting me that my card had been CHARGED.....AGAIN. When I told thr gal she said no no thats an authorization. What?! My card had already been charged! No where in even the FINE PRINT did it say that there would be a 100% authorization fee on my card. The gal basically brushed me off and said well...thars the way it works...u should have your money back in 1-4 days! What?! ONE TO FOUR DAYS?! Thats asinine. Get to our room and it was OK....however they do need to clean better. Raman noodles on tge floor. Stuck. On the floor. And weird stains on the side of the sheet 😳. (And no...im 100% not saying that becuase i was pissed). Best part was that there was decent channel availability on the TV for the 5 minutes I was awake. I will NOT ever stay at this Days Inn...
Read moreWe arrived at this hotel today, July 6th 2025.. We booked our room for one day. We arrived at 12:00 in hopes to get in earlier than 3pm - check in time. We were rudely greeted by the desk clerk at that time who indicated our room was not available. We ignored her behavior, we returned at 3 to check in. Again, another fromt office clerk was rude to my husband. My husband ignored her, we came into our room to shower to meet our family for dinner. We returned at roughly 9:30 pm, my husband inadvertently confused our key card with another keycard in the Grand Canyon, where were rented from the previous night. He addressed the desk clerk and she responded with “that is not our key card” in a very condescending manner and rolled her eyes. I at that moment told my husband to return to our door because I found the correct key. This girl along with the other one that assisted my husband at 12:00 the same day are the rudest and the worst. I have never experienced such negative, condescending behavior from a front desk clerk. I would highly suggest that the manager very much evaluate his prospective employees prior to hiring anyone that has constant contact with customers. We will never go back and we will make sure this information is publicly blasted on...
