A (relatively) young adult's review - who isn't from CO, and who is a successful professional.
Look, it's decent pizza - it's post-teen, pre-adult college kid pizza. If you want great pizza go somewhere else. When you're in college you love some greasy pizza without any flavor that's swimming in raw, white flour. When you're an adult you want some pizza that some pot head didn't make after lighting up. And, if you order their signature pizza (which includes random blobs of cream cheese unevenly distributed on the pizza + 3 pieces of broccoli + 1 total meatball diced into 4 pieces) then you'll get a college-kid's pizza created and cooked by a pot head.
The crust is rolled up like it was a joint, but there was less care put into it. The crust is dense, flavorless, and coated in raw flour. You take one bite of the crust and need to chug a glass of water or a pitcher of the Fat Tire. The Crust is pressed way to thin and over docked so no minor imperfections exists (which every pizza cook will tell you is what makes pizza amazing - each bite is slightly different but still the same); it's all just a flat, flavorless, flour coated, flatbread with little to no sauce and very little [low quality, greasy] cheese.
Now, you may wonder why 3 stars? Well, it was the worst pizza ever. So it deserves 2 stars because I would eat this pizza over some big chains. And add another star because they were fast, and another star because they gave me a discount since it was my first time ordering. But subtract a star because it was $20 for two 12" pizzas; One cheese and one a Roma specialty.
I'll be looking elsewhere in the future unless my wife wants me to order one or my kiddos are hoping for...
Read moreDon't ever go without a coupon! Their food is way overpriced if you do not have a coupon. $10 for a 10" pizza which is probably closer to 9" is ridiculous. I have eaten here for lunch many times and always brought my half price coupon with me - at $5 a small pizza is a fair deal. Their coupons are posted on their website and cost them absolutely nothing. The one time I forgot my coupon, the hostess says she cannot honor the price even if I have the coupon on my phone. Even though I know they are going to throw it in the trash. I left without the pizza and went elsewhere for lunch. They would rather throw away a pizza over a piece of worthless coupon and risk losing a repeat customer. I guess the hostess was hungry and wanted a free pizza because there is no reason in the world to lose a customer over a free coupon that anyone can get off their website. To be honest, their food is good, but not great. I go there only because of their coupons. But now, I may not go back at all. I hope that coupon was worth it, or should I say, I hope the owner is okay with his hostess losing a repeat customer who has been eating there since their doors opened so the staff could have...
Read moreTook some out of state visitors here for dinner. The atmosphere was very pleasant comfortable and casual. There was a limited variety of Italian food items on the menu. The features were Pizza and carolis(which I have always seen called a calezone). There were a ton of options for these ranging from the traditional mozzarella and pepperoni to jalepenos, pickles and even cashews. They also offered spaghett with homemade wide noodles and meatballs in a wide range of quantities from 1/2 order to a bucket. I also noticed lassagne and meatball sliders on the menu. There was also a noted option to take home premade uncooked pizza such as the Papa Murphy's chain does. We all opted for the carolis. I myself had a chicken, ranch and others in my party had the margarheta carolli with tomatoes and basil and another chose one called a hot house that had jalapeños, pineapple, onion, sausage and pepperoni. They were good sized but the shell was a bit flavorless imo (could have used a bit of olive oil and splash of seasoning on top. Other then that...
