DO NOT COME HERE. This hotel was probably wonderful upon opening up until maybe 5yrs ago at best. This is a has-been hotel on its way down. In desperate need of updating, repairs and maintenance. For the price and the way they advertise, it is simply not up to par. It feels like you’re in a poorly managed Days Inn or roadside motel. Don’t let the lobby pictures & bar fool you. This place is a dump. So many better options around. First off, when I walked into the hotel to check in about 7:30pm this past Friday 8/16 the Caucasian gentleman working the front desk DID NOT greet me whatsoever. He had been vaping at the entrance when I pulled in. His vape was visibly standing on the front desk. Another front desk employee (African American woman) was scrolling on her cell phone and didn’t even look up at me. The man demanded my last name. No “hello, welcome to Cambria…” no smile no nothing. The guy looked and acted like he hated his job and I was inconveniencing him by coming in. He didn’t provide or offer any information. Transaction of paperwork & credit card only. When I asked for the pool hours, he seemed upset I asked then told me in a condescending way that this & other info was in the paper he handed me w/ the channel listing. Right away I felt upset & uncomfortable, knowing I’d made the wrong decision about this hotel. In the elevator, there was a “RAW” brand marijuana joint clip laying on the floor. It was there until I checked out 2 days later!! Elevator had chunks of wood missing along bottom. Once you move away from the downstairs lobby, the more you look the more you’ll realize how poorly maintained and run this place is. Walked into room 329. At first glance, it seemed ok. Then when I walked over to the beds, I noticed the beds were made in a rushed, careless fashion. Mattress exposed, bed skirts bunched up and sheets barely covering the mattress. There was a large stain with actual gunk on the bedskirt of the one bed. Not what you expect from a 3 star hotel charging what they do… Wallpaper peeling in bathrooms, mold/ mildew galore in shower, filthy areas on the floor with hairs and remnants of other guests, rust on the silver mirrors that pull out from the wall, frayed carpets in areas. Dispensers in shower for soap & shampoo etc were all empty too. My partner and I live long distance and we each drove halfway to meet here for a weekend visit. This hotel negatively impacted our time together. Pool & hot tub area was a JOKE. How disappointing. We purposely booked here, paying more, because of these amenities. Pool was cloudy. Chlorine smell was so strong. Jacuzzi was filthy. Pool & hot tub both need some serious scrubbing/ maintenance. There was a used bandaid on the floor. Tables were dented and chairs so battered. No plants or decor as I had seen in their pictures. Place looked uncared for and forgotten about. A chair was propping open the door from pool area to outdoor fire pit area. Another disappointment. Fire pit was loaded with cigarette butts and in need of more lava rocks. Looked junky. At 12:30am on our second night, the air conditioner stopped working in our room. The front desk provided keys for a new room which was a one level upgrade. By the time we sorted that all out & moved into the new room, it was 2am. I asked the desk to provide a late check out for the inconvenience. Was told only the morning staff who come in at 7:30am could make that decision. So by the time we got to bed, we had to wake up less than 5hrs later to request a later check out. Staff put me on hold over 5 mins then said they needed that room and could only push it from 11am to 12p. At least we got that much. Even the “nicer” room (room 412) was poorly maintained. Cleaning supplies left out on table. Rust & dust on small, pull out mirror. Hands down, WORST TREATMENT BY EMPLOYEES I’ve ever received at a hotel. I’ve had friendlier exchanges at gas stations. The male working weekend evenings should get employment elsewhere. Rude, no personality. No care for guests whatsoever. Fire him. Renovate! Extremely dissatisfied.

Had a great stay! The beakfast buffet was about 10 dollars, so I passed on that, but there are plenty of breakfast options nearby from fast food to 24 hr diners. I was there a week and would get extra kurig coffee pods from the front desk every other day, though housekeeping or room service will bring what you need directly to your room if you request it. Housekeeping is every 3 days unless you call the front desk the night before to request it. They have a texting app that sends a message from housekeeping to ask if you need anything, and you can reply to that number any time during your visit to request housekeeping services. The room had 2 glasses, 2 plastic cups and 2 coffee paper cups, as well as a small ice bucket. There is an ice maker on every floor. There were a few regular Mountain coffee pods for the Kurig one cup coffee maker and one decaf pod. They have pods to make tea downstairs, just ask. My room was a business suite with a king size bed, matching sofa and chair, rolling desk chair, desk for my laptop, ottoman to put my feet up on, and two large flat screen TVs, one in sleeping area and one in the living room area. There's a mini fridge and microwave, and a closet with hangers, ironing board, and Iron. The bathroom had a hair dryer in a basket under the sink. I had a choice between two king beds or the king bed with the suite. I picked the suite because i had plenty of room to lay out books and papers and a desk for the laptop. Same price. I used the Choice hotel app to find prices and I'm already signed up for their hotel points and discounts and Cambria is part of that hotel chain. I called the help line in the app and they were able to apply additional discounts, making it cheaper to stay there than in any of the surrounding hotels. There is an indoor pool and hot tub, an outdoor lounging area, and bathrooms right beside the entry to the pool area. The pool area was open to 10 pm, as well the bar and restaurant area on the other side of the elevators. The fitness room on the first floor is roomy with a good selection of equipment. It's open 24/7, just swipe your card for entry. The restaurant/bar will deliver to your room also, just press the button on your room phone marked room service, or call extension 117. The front desk gives you a menu when you check in. There is a small snack bar downstairs you can buy things from 24 hrs a day. There's also a lounging area inside with a large TV and several sofas and chairs near the dining area. The air conditioning and heating is controlled by a unit on the wall. If you don't want it to adjust the temperature, turn it off. If you turn it on 75 thinking the air will only run when it's that hot, you may be surprised when it starts blowing heat when it dips below the temp you set it to. There is no heat/air switch, it's on or it's not. It's good if you want the room to be the same temperature all day and night. The temp was 85 during the day and 54 at night there. I kept mine between 72 and 75 all week. Everyone was friendly and helpful and I had an amazing stay. Will book a room there again next time I'm in the area for business. Awesome service, environment, and amenities! 10 out of 10.

I paid almost $500 to stay at this hotel for Friday and Saturday night, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish.

The king suite we stayed in was disgusting: • The bed was incredibly uncomfortable — the worst bed I’ve ever slept in. It felt cheap and offered no support, making it nearly impossible to get any rest. • The carpet was covered in thick layers of dust that looked like it had been building up for over a year. • There was trash on the floor and someone else’s hair clip under the nightstand. • No blanket was provided on the bed — only thin sheets. • There was mold along the wall by the window. • The ceiling had leaks. • Microwave was filthy, caked with food residue inside. • Cobwebs were hanging around the room. • The bathroom light had over six bugs trapped inside. • There was dried vomit on and behind the toilet, along with build-up of dried urine around the base. • Dust was everywhere — in the bathroom, on the beds, lamps, furniture, you name it. • The shower walls were caked with build-up, and the drain smelled like raw sewage and was full of gunk. • Tiles on the bathroom floor were broken, creating a tripping hazard. • One curtain was missing entirely, and the others had what appeared to be blood or food stains. • The desk chair was torn badly. • The HVAC unit did not work properly and had a terrible smell if set above 68 degrees, making the lack of a real blanket even worse. • Only one tiny bathroom trash can was provided for the whole suite. • The couch and pull-out sofa were dirty, with crusty white stains and crumbs all over them. • Wallpaper was peeling off the walls.

I immediately went to the front desk and reported all of this. They had no other rooms available. They sent housekeeping to the room, forcing my son and I into an uncomfortable situation where we had to leave. I told the front desk we were going to get food and would eat in the lobby while they cleaned.

When we sat down in the lobby to eat our takeout, we were approached and told we couldn’t sit there because it was a restaurant area, despite the fact it was visibly empty. We were told to move to the breakfast area. (By the way, their breakfast isn’t free — it’s an extra $15 per person.) It was just another added inconvenience on top of an already terrible stay.

We never got into the pool or hot tub — they were absolutely disgusting. • The pool had visible debris and floating hair. • The hot tub water was green. • The area around both the pool and hot tub was filthy.

My son had wanted to use the hot tub after his football tournament, but after seeing the condition of the pool and hot tub, we didn’t even step into the water.

I tried to find another hotel but everything near the tournament field was fully booked.

I requested some form of compensation due to the room conditions, and was told a manager would contact me. No manager ever reached out.

Other families from my son’s team and other teams staying at the hotel were complaining too — everyone had the same complaints about the lack of cleanliness and poor conditions.

And to top it off, the morning we checked out, there was a dried, sticky red substance in the elevator that hotel staff had been notified about the night before — it still hadn’t been cleaned by the time we left.

This experience was disgusting, unsafe, uncomfortable, and absolutely not worth the price. I could have spent less than $150 to stay at a basic motel and had a cleaner, more comfortable experience. I would never stay here again and would strongly urge others to stay away from this hotel.

I have pictures!

I’ve also stayed in a lot of hotels in different states/cities in the last few months and...
