As a Nurseā¦this location needs more help! I take care of a non verbal stroke/cancer patient. Have been for 4 years. I know how controlled meds work. When her palliative med doctor orders her refill on the 16th I shouldnāt be standing at the counter 6 days later when she is one day overdue from her patch change. When I was told it wasnāt even processed I commented it had been 5 (actually 6) days and should be ready. Quickly the clerk told me not to speak to her that way. I hadnāt spoke rudely and she quickly heard my rude tone after that along with the pharmacist when he tried to explain if it was too early to pick up they canāt control the schedule. It wasnāt too early and I hadnāt been rude, until their lack of order completion happened and my attitude quickly changed with how I was spoken to. It could have been a professional exchange until the clerk decided to vilify me instead of recognizing the time lapse between the order and giving them time to process it. My mother is going again without her prescription and I have to go back tomorrow. She is non verbal and cannot call to tell this pharmacy to do their job despite that as an excuse. The pharmacyās job is to process and fill medication in a timely manner. None of that happened. The customer isnāt always right but making a cancer patient wait for pain meds when it is overdue is far more out of line. And blaming the family for the pharmacy not doing their job and vilifying them is grossly inappropriate. If that clerks feeling were hurt over being questioned why the prescription wasnāt filled when the script is on fileā¦.imagine how hurt the patient is not having the meds that keep her pain at a tolerable level. Infuriating is an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an antibiotic called in for strep. Went to pick it up and they said they didnāt have anything for me. I Called my doctor and they said they would call it in again. 2 1/2 hours later I called the pharmacy and the phone prompt said it was in process. Cool- I figured by the time I get there it will be ready. I pull up and they tell me itās out of stock. NO CALL OR TEXT TO ME, DID NOT CALL MY DOCTOR TO GET AN ALTERNATE. How is this okay?! They just let me show up an hour before closing to tell me they donāt even have it. After the pharmacist was too cowardly to come talk to me about it and instead yelled back and forth to the tech, they said they were sending it to a different location and I could go pick it up now. I headed that way and called to find out THEY ARE CLOSED.
Update: still more incompetence here. Had a prescription called in, needed prior auth. Ok I received a letter from my insurance saying it was approved. Still getting texts from the pharmacy saying they havenāt gotten the approval and that I needed to call my doctor. I called CVS and let them know I got a letter over a week ago that said it was approved. The pharmacist argued with me and then looked it up. Said āoh I do see it was approved, well they only approved a smaller amount.ā I called my insuranceā¦they said only the first dose is small to get me started and then the next time I refill it will be the larger amount. Refilled it yesterday and itās still the small amountā¦of course when I call I sit on hold for 20 mins and finally give up because no one answers. They really canāt do anything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible experience with the minute clinic. Especially the practioner that was working. I left in tears. I went on right at 9am to sign up to see the doctor. I was technically second in line but a couple had forgot to sign in ( who was really first) so I was third. Well, the nice couple let the first person who signed up in the computer go ahead so I left and heard I would receive a text when I could come back. I received the text 5 min after I left and I think it was because I was second in the system. However, when I got there I walked in and sat in the actual doctors office. Then the practioner noticed the couple who forgot to sign up in the system were still waiting even though they said I could go ahead of them. Well the doctor noticed this and said " no" they need to go ahead since they were here before you. He said he would text me when he was ready for me. Well, three hours later did not receive a text so I just signed up again. My appointment was at 1:21pm. I get there and the doctor says " oh sorry I'm at lunch now" my appointment says 1:21!!! Do not tell me you're at lunch. He then laughed at me when I said " you know what, forget it" this is my first written review ever and I'm beyond frustrated. If it was up to me I would absolutely fire...
