Regal Inn — Hotel in Guntersville

What a s&$@ hole, I'm sorry but there is simply no other word for this run down ex Motel 8 leftover. My God they build bedframes out of wood streightvon to the floor nails perdruding all over the place boxsprings exsposed ,seethrough sheets from NOT hotel or even motel brand nor are the Matresses and boxsprings they may have found on the side of the road when the folks in town had bulk pick up day?And the Bedcover once opened straight from box to bed and never left that bed since? As well as the beige blanket beneth it ,yuk all the bedding stained and disgusting,we went up the street even though we just spend 18 hrs on the road with our parents and two children for a drive that should had taken us 8.5 hrs to get away from the hurricane that was to hit Florida which were we all lived to buy bedspreads and covers to use over the existing in order to be able to rest for the night because all other hotels were full and I had searched two weeks prior.athe bathrooms in all three rooms were just disgusting ,dirty and caulking was falling apart bugs crawling stinkyin all of them ,two did not have working vents or locks, strange stained tiles all over ,disgusting stinky water. This could be a great place if they closed it and brought in a maintenance crew tomoverhaul all a the broken stuff ,repainted ,recaulked ,replaced all the toilets and lighting to daylight and OMG do something aboughtbthe soundbarrier with the paper thin glass windows and ALL THt traffic .sadly we had no other option but to suck it up 3 nights maybe 12 hrs of sleep in all . I am now back home in Florida exausted and warning you DONT DO IT ,DONT STAY HERE. unless your live depends on it...

Yes me and my husband went there Friday the 14th of March 2025, because of a storm coming into town and we were going to stay until the 16th but we got there and the lady told us that the heater in the room she put us in did not work! (We were ok with that ) But we got up to the room and not a damn thing in the room worked the t.v. was bad the air and heat was broken the mini fridge and other stuff was broken also so she put us in another room 3 doors down well we pulled back the bed sheets and we're going to go to bed and as we pulled the covers back a roach came up from under the pillow and went onto the night stand were there are a few roaches there are tons, it was a nonrefundable room but after I saw the roaches I called the number we called to put the room on hold and told them everything that we had been through and they gave us a refund! This hotel is a piece of crap hotel they should be closed down roaches everywhere and stuff in rooms that don't work they need to be closed until they get the stuff fixed and the roaches leave I have never in my life had to deal with something like this ! This place is not a place that you want to stay it is a roach hotel and the funny thing is the owner nos it and doesn't do anything about the roaches and trying to rent a room out that all the stuff is broken , he should be ashamed of himself! Save your money do not take your friends are family to this place...

I rented a room for a night . I slept when I arrived so I woke about 12 midnight got ready to take a shower and noticed public hair in the shower cleaned it out and proceeded to shower the water wasn't draining at all !! Nasty water high up on my legs it was disgusting.. I still felt dirty .. then I started turn on TV no the remote did not work at all .. I wanted get my drinks cold but the mini fridge was not working.. I left at 3 Am to go home no shower ,no TV and no cold drink .I called the motel and told the man what I experienced he said I'm so sorry I didn't mean for you to get that room and didn't inspect it!! He said if I come back for a stay that he would give me discount so few weeks later I did I told the girl during check in that I was promised a discount she said you speak to manager in the morning before you leave ..so I did this man acting like he had no clue what I was talking about !!! So I still have received nothing after being promised that they would make it up to me!!! Not to mention Crack heads living there and the floors being nasty my Sox was black ..also I have been being over charged I paid 70 bucks not 57 and a lady there said they charged her 57 .I ask and they denied the room I stayed in the last night (only because I was promised a discount ) the water in the shower was shooting straight out...
