Was our #1 go-to restaurant for yrs, but past couple times we've had issues with our order. While Dining in they wld fix any mistake or issue no problem, but takeout orders has been a different story. We weren't asking for food replacement or money back either time bc we were already at home. Just thought they shld be notified of the issues since there were so many mishaps with the order in case the cook was new he cld be shown the proper way or if it was an ongoing issue it cld be addressed. I had to explain the problem to several different people, which was very aggravating bc I plainly asked when 1st answered if I CLD speak to a manager or someone regarding a problem with takeout, plus being put on hold for minutes at a time in between ppl causing what shld of been a 5 min Convo turning into 20-30...

Service was wonderful. There was about a 20 minute wait on a Friday night, which seems to be a common thing in town. After reading reviews was very excited to try and thought it was just ok. They rice served with the fajitas reminded me more of what I would get from a Chinese place than a Mexican restaurant and the short rib that was with the el camino real fajitas was very tough. The choriqueso dip was good but wasn't totally melted when it arrived to us. Everything just lacked flavor as a whole. The salsa and chips were very good. They also kept bringing our food to the table next to us and then once they told them it wasn’t theirs it would come to us. My family went to lunch here today 4-20-2024. My husband had a dish with beef, my oldest child had a cheese quesadilla, and my youngest had chicken.. they all returned home at 3 and my youngest that had the chicken has been puking none stop since 4pm. It is now 9:30 & she is still puking. I of course messaged the restaurants Facebook page and they read my message but did not respond. HENCE THIS REVIEW. Learn how to cook chicken and how to be food safe or leave this industry. There’s no excuse for getting people sick. I told them not to go to this restaurant before they left, that there were better options in town, but someone else chose the restaurant.
