The Ten Gurnee — Hotel in Gurnee

Went there for the bogo prime rib special they have been promoting for 2 weeks. We got reservations and the special went from 5 - 9pm. Made reservations at 6pm. Sat down an hour into the special and was told the prime rib was all sold out. They had an additional offer off a 8 ounce steak they would substitute for the inconvenience. Decided to give it a try since we drove from WI to try the food out. Steak tasted like it was from a parking lot steak truck they sell at gurnee mills for 20 ribeyes for 40 bucks, awful and had no flavor and also was served with aujus sauce on the side. My experience with Caitlin was great. The African American lady with braids not so much. She checked me in then later went into Priceline account to charge the Priceline account card (had no valid reason for that to be a step in the process at all) Priceline was paid and reservation was set already.

I still haven't gotten a reason why. This lady charged my card twice for incidental, again for no reason. I ended up with multiple charges on my account. Then when the incidental posted back to my account, it was charged again. Pay attention to your account regarding incidentals. It may be refunded then later...

My wife and I are local and we like to try new restaurants every once in a while. This Friday night we thought that we would go to “Twyla’s Lounge” as they had advertised a fish fry on Friday’s. We understand that they are fairly new, and they are owned by a fairly good restauranteur from the area. Unfortunately, we barely got to ordering when we pushed away from the table….
