Restaurant Depot — Local services in Gurnee

If there will be thousands of stars this location deserve it... all of them but specifically today Abby ❤️ the receiving manager. This location is one of the best restaurants depot in US never make you wait for hours.

My story: I had a delivery appointment for 11 am Pulaski road Chicago,IL location .... it took them forever to put me in dock and then to recive me , i called this location and let them know of the situation.... Manager Abby talk to me she is a wonderful person lots of respects for her ... she wait for me so I will get unloaded since I had last stop MN. I arrived at 3:50 pm my appointment was for 2 pm but Abby the sweet manager was still waiting for me everyone else went home . She unloaded me within minutes and I was out extremely happy rolling for my last delivery for MN. Millions of respects to Abby for making it happen. Thank you will be a small word to say for what she has done. It means alot to a driver when the receiving end knows your situation. Would love to visit this...

A few positive things: I always find what I am looking for. Store is clean. Floor employees always greet customers and are willing to help! This has never been an issue. But when you get to the registers is when things start going down… several people standing around sometimes standing by the registers and yelling at you that they are not open. I don’t think I remember being greeted by any cashier. They hold their scanner for you to hurry and know what they want. Then they start scanning things, beware of them scanning correctly because if you don’t have a case they will just assume is a case of something. And if you notice an error they will not even apologize or say anything. And don’t even think about returning something because the male at the costumer service is not professional or friendly.

I like shopping in this warehouse but the employees there always make me think of shopping...

I'm here once a week for almost 3months now, I always get the same experiences. Everyone on the floor are friendly and helpful(5stars).. EXCEPT the front service and all the cashiers(ZEROstar); apparently they hate customers, especially when you walk up to them while they're talking to each other about non work related conversations; or when they're sitting and just staring at the wall, we shouldn't bother them. UPPER management need to hire new manager. This is Very unacceptable customers service experience; especially they're in the front. All other RD from Chicago, Lombard etc.. are all great in all fields, and they're very busy. compared to this location no lines, and 3 cashiers just sitting around doing nothing, and no greetings.. Zero effort on customer service. If you're in a rush, good luck.
