Absolutely LOVE this beach. It stretches as far as you can see, it is however connected to other beaches that say "private" but honestly there is nothing to separate them so they view isn't blocked at all, and when you look to the left their is the cove where all the boats dock and also a long line of rocks that go out into the ocean that I have walked out onto many times. However if you do that please be careful as they are slippery and move around alot. But the view from the beach is simply beautiful. When I go is always the "off" season early April so the entire beach is covered in the small shells or other things so I'm not sure if it is cleared of these things in the summer months. One year me and my wife saw the coolest, and strangest thing I've ever seen. We went to the beach and it was covered with what had to be hundreds of horseshoe crab shells all on top of each each. Read moreWe come after 4pm when we aren't driving the car with the sticker so as not to have to pay. Seems like a completely different dynamic in the early evening than during the day. You can see the flash of the lighthouse see the tip of Monomoy Island in the distance. Nice to visit during the day or before sunset. There are bathrooms here but only open during the day. Read moreA small but wonderful beach that is public and with Parking Lot, and bathrooms. A wonderful location for a lazy walk with your dog in the off season. This public beach is sandwiched by several other private beaches including a resort on one side. I would imagine this gets very crowded during the high season but is a perfect spot to walk during the off season. You have free reign to walk through the private beaches.
