Wow! I decided it was time to finally get a new mattress and ended up at Mattress Firm. I was very impressed by their selection, the cleanliness of the store, and most of all, the excellent customer service I received from GARRY! Good customer service is hard to find, so I think it is important to recognize awesome people. Garry was so patient and thorough as he answered my LONG list of questions. Mattresses aren’t cheap, so I really wanted to make sure I got what I wanted. Garry had a no-pressure approach, and also wanted me to be happy with my purchase. I told him what I was looking for, and he used his knowledge base to find us the perfect mattress. During our conversation, Garry shared that he will be moving to both the Riverside and Moreno Valley stores. SHOUT OUT TO YOU, GARRY, for your excellent customer service skills! You have really set the bar high, and I was surprised to learn that you were not the manager. Mattress Firm— promote him now! He really knows your products and is representing your company well. The people are wonderful however the company a big Box corporation, are horrible with their delivery Practices. Make sure You allow a full day to get a delivery. And then they will text an email you the night before with a 2 hour window and it either works or it does not. The numbers and email They reach out with are unreachable and the people on the store have absolutely no control and cannot contact anyone in the delivery Warehouse. I ended up having to cancel even though i really wanted them. Now I suppose I have to find a company that's local that can get the mattresses to their local Store and bring them to my home. Which from mattress firm was only about 20 minutes away. Super big disconnect with their delivery system.. Living out of state just did not work Even though when I bought them I told them I had more stuff coming that day from 12 to 5 but they could not accommodate me. They just assign a slot for the day you choose. Then they reach out to you night before and let you know the 2 hour time frame. If it doesn't work too bad there is absolutely no way to contact them or change it and the people in the store have no control. We were searching online for information on Beauty Rest Mattresses and found that the Matress Firm in West Hemet had them in store. Once at the store, we were greeted by Jeri where she took all of the time necessary for my wife and I to come to an informed decision. Well, I have this thing where I have an issue with substantial on-the-spot purchases and lucky for me we had a lunch date and needed to leave. Jeri couldn't have been any more understanding and we told her we would be back on Tuesday to finalize the purchase. She said although it was her day off we could come in and make the purchase with another salesperson. We had been so pleased with Jeri's knowledge and patience that we decided to meet with her when she was back at the store. We met with Jeri again and decided to that we wanted an upgrade on both the mattress and the adjustable bed frame. Jeri did an amazing job on putting a mattress package together as well as providing a very affordable price. It met or exceeded than the online packages and she could deliver EVERYTHING as soon as we wanted. Well, that was the Deal-Maker as the online stores had delivery times of 4 to 6 weeks!
