Waffle House — Restaurant in Hendersonville

I had a bad experience at this waffle house tonight, first the cook was being very unpleasant and frustrated with the waitress. But i soon fount out why, It took a good 30mins for someone to take our order. Then finally it comes in pieces my husband got the patty melt and was not served the hashbrowns . And when he asked the waitress about them. She said u didn't order any. When he order them and when she asked what on them he told her plain. Ok no biggie i was gonna share mine. And he told her dont worry about it . bcoz the crew already looked stressed. Well i ordered the all star. I had to ask about the waffle. And then never received any toast. My 2 year old started fussing and making a scene bcoz she loves to eat the toast and i usually just let her eat off my plate. Well i asked the waitress about it. And another 20 to 30 mins go by and still no toast. My daughter is at level 10 at this point and so is my husband temper about the situation. So he takes her outside while i pay the bill $20.75 for food we never really got all of, or a chance to eat it . Yes, some of it was due to my daughter loosing her patience. But they need to hire more cooks or waitresses. Or provide more training or time management to this waitress. I dont know but clearly there is a problem. And a bad vibe between the crew leaving the customers feeling uncomfortable for just being there.. And it was not very busy, only myself and two other booths was occupied 🤷💁 i will not be back at this...

The Waffle House on Main Street, Hendersonville, TN continues to be mine and my husbands Favorite breakfast place. The staff to us are more than that, they have become what it feels like family. We have been going to this Waffle House for several years now, mostly on Saturdays, and sometimes on Sundays. The people and the service does not change, no matter how busy or stressed, they are always ready to speak to us, serve us, and show amazing hospitality.

Jennifer and Ken, the Regionals, are two amazing people, and are both very hard workers-leaders. You would never know if they had a bad day, because no matter what their day is like, you are the priority.

My husband and I attended their annual Valentine's Day event for the first time this year, and it was truly incredible. You never would think to spend Valentines at the Waffle House, but we will definitely make this a tradition. They decorated the entire Diner of French cuisine, and had: A violinist, photo booth, laminated specialty menus, table cloths, heart shaped chocolate, and everyone dressed up in French-restaurant attire. first time at WH --- IKR? But for real ... walked into a mostly empty WH at like 3.30pm. Service was EXCELLENT!!! Can't for the life of me remember our server's name, but she was EXCELLENT!! She was hustling, getting our drinks (and there were some customized ones too), jumped in to help make our dishes too. Quick service - everything came out as it should be, with ample portions. The pricing was excellent, of course. If all WH are like THIS ONE, it's a WIN WIN!!! Our server seemed to have gone above and beyond - she really helped make this experience truly wonderful. She kept checking on us, kept refilling our drinks - just great service. All I know is that as we spoke with her, she worked 24hrs during Christmas and it shows that she totally loves her job. I'm sorry for misplacing her name - but she had the hustle that others need to have!! I wish we had WH close by, cause I would be there more !!!
