For the amount of money I paid for a birthday party, I was pretty disappointed at how it went. We were told we could come 30 minutes before the party to set up. (I assumed they closed for that 30 mins since they closed for our party) We get there and several people are painting taking up most of the tables and the other tables were dirty. There was only one employee (bless her she was trying her best). I wasn’t able to set up until the party started and people were getting there which was really frustrating. Next was the misleading information about the art pieces. In exchange of emails, we could pick out 4 pieces of art that the kids would pick from ( which was a very limited, not great list). It was not stated that you only got a certain number of those pieces. My daughter picked out a Christmas mug as one of the pieces, well a bunch of the kids wanted that one as well. We only got 4 of them and after that the option is gone for the rest of the kids. Well with a required minimum of 15 kids, you can see we had some disappointed kids. Getting paint to the kids is an extremely slow process and there needs to be a better way to do it. I was told I could bring a slideshow of pictures and we get there and the employee has no idea how to do it so that doesn’t get set up. They also misplaced/lost our party info twice in the weeks leading up to the party. If I had not emailed asking for the list to pick from they wouldn’t have known our party was that week. It was a frustrating experience all around especially for how much...
Read moreTHE ABSOLUTE WORST experience!!!!! They told my friend and I they would call after the pottery was completed. We tried reaching out and had no luck. Then we got a call a year later stating it was done. I come to pick it up and they had one available but could not find the other. She was going to make me leave until she was able to find the other one after A YEAR LATER… I told the owner how much of an inconvenience this was and asked if she could go ahead and look for it while I had time. She comes out the back with a single pottery saying “this might be yours” “it could be yours” without even being sure that it was mine. We paid $60 for the whole package only to receive it one year later and lose one too. The owner acted very confused whole time and listened with no understanding. I asked for at least a refund and she was giving me push back from that. She finally said that she’d give me a refund and waited for me to leave. I told her that I’ll wait until I see it refunded. She then tells me I was not in the system, and I luckily had my order number and she somehow magically found me to give a refund. I WILL NEVERRRR be back and I’m hoping this experience teaches them but also warns you. The class was wonderful but the “after class” experience was not great AT ALL. I never really write reviews unless I have to and this was an unfortunate situation...
Read moreFun experience to come paint pottery when there's nothing else to do. Compared to other places I'm not impressed with this studio. Take your number and will call you when things are ready. Called them almost a week later to find out the pieces were just now getting put in the kiln. Had to call again almost another week later to find out they are done. Showed up to just an employee painting a piece. Order wasn't even packed up ready to go like the others. Suprised to find out the tree came with a light and the tiny ornament lights but then the ornaments must have gotten dropped when packing because they were not in the bag when I got home. Disappointed to find out that my order number was written on the bottom of 3 of the pieces and glazed over. Also 2 of the pieces don't feel glazed properly. A duck at the bottom is missing some glaze and the leaf bowl has several areas where the glaze feels missing or too thin compared to other areas. For the price I paid I expected some...
