I am an avid Kroger shopper, have been for years but the last several times I've been there it was terrible. The shelves weren't stocked, the stockers had their carts in the way of the merchandise so you couldn't get to it, the coupons I had none of those items were in stock and to top off my miserable shopping trip, knowing that I had to go to another store to get the items that Kroger was out of, there was ONE CHECK OUT LINE OPEN! This has been the case whether I go on a Friday night, Saturday afternoon, Sunday evening or 10p on a school night one lane open. When I finally get to the check out counter there were 3 teenage boys who were standing at the end of the of the counter talking amongst each other- I had over $400 worth of groceries so I needed another cart, I asked 3 times when finally I got their attention and they brought me one. The checker was very sweet but had no idea what any of the produce was. I've tried curbside pick up and delivery to avoid these issues but they ALWAYS GET IT WRONG! I once ordered 3 small cans of peach juice and when the delivery came they brought me 3 10 Gallon HUGE cans of peaches... luckily they will go to use but that was a big mistake and I was charged for the 3 10 gallon cans instead of the 3 small 8 oz cans I ordered. The staffing there is terrible and there are so many kroger employees shopping for delivery or curbside you can hardly get down the isles their carts are so big. I love Kroger due to my gas points but dang, I complained to management a few times but got nowhere. I am very disappointed with the Kroger leadership. Don't go to Kroger is you...

Prior to that, your store had multiple issues. And in reading the reviews, those issues have not changed.
You hire mostly teens. Who themselves seem to care about nothing. They hang out all day, are rough with merchandise, publicly feud with each other, have poor hygiene, they regularly hide from customers, and they're all on their phones constantly.
As for supervisors, never saw them on the floor. Guess you all hid from customers too.
More than once caught an employee of yours, super tall kid, stealing candy bars off the shelf, and putting them in his pocket. I think his name was either Ethan, or Kevin. Each time I went to your a head cashier, Adam, and he kept covering for him. Sweeping it under the rug. Not like that kid was poor, his shoes were designer.
Another kid (he talked a lot), claimed to be homeless. And on hard times with his family. Told that to lots of us customers. Find out he was lying, and scamming for tips.
Another kid, hispanic, think his name was something like Diego or Santiago, was always either pretending to clean, flirting with his girlfriend, bullying his coworkers, or trying to pull the register-podium-thing free from it's bolts on self checkout. Never helping people. Always on his phone.
When the kids were off, it was worse. They'd keep hanging out, and distracting their friends still working.
I tried shopping in the morning, too busy. Had to do afternoons. Finally gave up. CashSaver was not as good, but at least they...
Read moreService has gone way down hill. The supposed managers don't even know how their own systems work. They now require you to use a pin number on regular Master Cards when they have a chip. Have NEVER been asked to use a pin number with a non debt card anywhere. They claimed they couldn't do it any other way, because Kroger changed it last year and the "Manager" Terrel didn't even know it was a rule, another cashier had to come over and say they don't know why Kroger changed it, but they only do it to Master Cards and not Visa.
If you come in late, past 11pm, good luck getting much service. They close the entry doors so you have no access to shopping carts. Went in twice in the last few months at that time and they had no carts available since they were locked up inside the main entrance side. They were sitting around talking and told me I could go get a cart in the parking lot. I am disabled by the way, so had to walk back outside to find a cart. Had another visit late in December and had to stand around up front for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to show up to check out. 1 lane open with no one there. Even tried calling the store with no answer.
Basically they are horrible at night, and unfortunately not much better during the day. Been a customer of THIS location since the 80s. Even shopped at their orginal location here in Hendersonville across from the Post office. Sad to see how bad this store has gotten. Other location in Hendersonville is night and day. GREAT support and managers bend over...
