Many of the positive reviews in here are very misleading! I have stayed at a wydham in another state and it was amazing, but I get it everyone’s standards are NOT THE SAME!! For the price you are getting EXACTLY what you paid for and here’s why..yes there were a couple old stains on sheets, the couch had I hope it was ice cream or some form of dairy dropped down the side of it but given the area it’s iffy on what fluid it may have been, 1st floor definitely had cigarette odor in hall and slightly in bedrooms, bathroom was disgusting, and tv didn’t work then guy was trying to change us to a different room. I get that charging such a low fee corners definitely are cut here at this place and they definitely did spare every expensive possible! Staff was friendly though she kept saying bless your heart lol I am not dumb I know what that means haha not sure if she did or not but overall is an ok place if you’re just passing through with the dogs and need a cheap spot and aren’t picky about smells and cleanliness, it’s a rough it kinda feel. Also, booked two rooms and my brother in law got there first and they wouldn’t give him the room because he didn’t have the card I used to hold both rooms which I was never told so he slept out in the parking lot until we got there which we were about 6ish hours away and it was in the middle of the night. When I arrived woman said that rooms had been canceled as no shows even though I told them my brother in law will be sleeping out in the parking lot til we get there for our rooms after talking about all that I paid for our rooms and pet fees then the next morning they tried to hassle my brother in law telling him he needed to pay the pet fee, which I had already left by then so had to call the front and tell them I already paid for that the day before, in which they said no worries no worries…weird! So communication is lacking. Breakfast was a thumbs down juice is definitely watered down, alllllll the way down, waffles were ok. There was a drifter hanging out in the lobby asking people questions etc. She was friendly but not something some people want to deal with. When leaving I didn’t make a complaint to the front desk because I couldn’t be more sure they know what they are offering there and have zero F’s to give!! Place definitely had a happy ending vibe but that might just be me. Just in case anyone needed confirmation pictures can speak louder than words!!...
Read moreDON'T STAY HERE! Safety, sanitation, cleanliness and inferior renovation problems. The morning desk clerk was dressed in a zip up hoodie and pajama pants. This is a pet friendly hotel and we were upcharged for our dog with out being forewarned. We were a late check in. There is a handwritten sign at the desk asking to pardon the dust while they renovate. I tried to ask the morning desk clerk of our room renovations were complete, but that conversation was a train wreck - she went atomic just for asking. Our room had an upgraded lock and new laminate and kick panel on the exterior of the door but the laminate was cracked and missing on the interior in the lower portion of the door. The hide a bed couch was covered with animal hair and dander. The GFCI outlet over the sink is literally coming out of the wall. The sink has a crack that extends from the left down near the drain and across to the right. The main lightswitch has a hole in the drywall that the switch cover cannot conceal. This is a fresh renovation, yet all lightswitch and outlet covers have been repurposed. They are dirty and paint splattered. The lighting over the sink was installed crooked and has cobwebs on it. The shelf above the coat hanger has dust or sawdust in the corners. The paint above the shower stall is cracking and falling off. The popcorn paint on the ceiling has multiple long cracks. The shower head housing hasn't been cleaned and has a deep layer of dirt and dust. The tub faucet is deeply pitted. The newly installed carpet trim is coming off the walls. The painters painted over the old mollies instead of removing them and patching the holes. I tried to use the phone but the phone was so dirty that the handset was stuck in the cradle. I had to force it out and found dirt mixed with hair on both the handset and the phone cradle. Obviously I didn't use the phone. I found a bag of souvenir literature in the dresser drawer from the previous customer. When I checked out at 8:15am, the Desk Clerk R@$a was very unprofessional, rude, defensive and argumentative. I asked to speak with the manager Theresa but was told that she was not on the premises. You can put lipstick and mascara on a pig, but it's...
Read moreAs the saying goes, you get what you pay for. This was an affordable Hotel for the area. Apparently it was a busy weekend for something big going on in Louisville because I could not find a Hotel in all of Louisville that was much less than $200/night. Even dumpy Hotels we've stayed at in the past wanted $220/night or more. So when I found this Hotel for only $100/night, I thought we would give it a try. I read the reviews which were not that great but they were spot on, even though I thought that maybe we could handle the issues fine. On a good point, they accepted cash which a lot of hotels no longer do that. The beds were comfortable. The rooms looked clean and they must have been recently updated. However, the rest was not that great. The entire Hotel was very small. the hallways seemed narrow. The bathroom was so small, the door almost rubbed the toilet when you closed the door. The breakfast area was so small, it was hard to move around the room. Brekfast was awful. They had a waffle machine but that's pretty much it. The refrigerator where they would keep yogurt and such, was empty all 3 mornings. They had toast and generic froot loops and generic raisen bran. There was usually no milk. There was no coffee the 1st morning and when I asked the man behind the desk, it took him about 45 min to change the packaging and we coldn't wait anymore. Plus, the only creamer is powder creamer. So if you want a cup of coffee, I suggest going to the gas station for one. There was usually only 1 employee working at all times and that man was never friendly. Didn't speak very good english and never smiled. We had 3 people in our room and stayed for 3 nights. They only gave us 2 towels and 2 washcloths. We had to go to the front desk every day to request more towels and washcloths. If you want a cheap price and a clean place to stay, this is for you. Otherwise, I would rather spend a lot more money and stay somewhere where you get more for what...
