I went to this ihop on 09/13/2023 to pick up an Uber eats delivery order. When I walked in, there was nobody at the front desk, I stood there for a while, said w couple of hellos NO one answered. There was people seating there eating and then I saw a server so I proceeded to walk towards him. While I was staging waiting on him, here comes this lady out of nowhere, not saying hello, hi or any greetings , asking can I help you? I turned looking at her she has employee badge and was walking with some old people so by the way she asked can I help you? I asked her do u work here? Twice and she walks off and starts yelling * if I didn’t work here why would I ask if you help ?? like lady was getting triggered because of a dimple confirmation question, it was nothing maliclious, I was not disrespectful or anything. She literally walked off so I proceed to talk to server about the delivery order and she dared said to him * no I’ll handle it ! With some nasty attitude! She then stated she’s gonna cancel the order ! Like I was standing there in disbelief because if I’m genuily asking do u work here? Why not simple reply yes I do, simple right ! Anyone not Looking for trouble would definitely not be nasty, waste my tim because I drove miles to come pick up this order. She not only gave me the worst customer welcome, no salutation, she proceeded to cancel the customer’s order because I’d her disgusting entitlement and behavior. She made me waste my time and played with my money. I got so much going on and this is a side job I need to survive this energy. So if I have to drive, waste my gas to get to a restaurant to simply pick up food and people in there catch nasty attitudes for simply confirming who they are, like why are you even there ont he first time. She had no name tag, nothing indications she works at ihop so calling behind me and simple sayimf * can I help you? Was kinda odd and rude because the approach even showed she was having a bad day or something. My point is, so nkt hire people who do not know how to deal with customers. People you catch very inappropriate attitudes for the slitest things. I will be calling there tomorrow to talk to a person or even go there in person to file af formal complaint because she played with my job and I do not appreciate such unnecessary...
Read moreNever will I ever dine at this IHOP again! The power has been out and most of Cy-Fair right now and that's where I live so we, myself and 11 year old son, decided to go to IHOP have some coffee and a breakfast. My husband had just passed away 6 months ago, that's my son's father, we were married 13 years, I was a housewife, and he had a very tragic and abrupt accident. My mother died that same day, she had been on hospice for 11 days at that point. So I'm just trying to keep my son and myself happy at this point. Anyway, I see this IHOP and think it's just a fine idea until it comes time to pay the bill. For some reason my debit card was not in my wallet, a slew of credit cards were but not my debit card. And that's when this entire story TURNS CRAZY! I'm looking through my purse, my backpack, everything so it must be in the car. I left my son in the restaurant where I could see him and I go to the car, I cannot find it. I come back and there is a police lady, IHOP called the damn cops on me! I don't know if they didn't think I could just put my bill on one of these several credit cards sitting out that they saw but they called the cops on me, a brand new widow with a child and plenty of credit cards sitting out all I needed rather wanted, was to use my debit. MIND YOU, I HAVE MY 11 YEAR OLD TO JUST LOST HIS FATHER WATCHING THIS HAPPEN!!! Traumatized already, my little boy, is now seeing the police called on his mother, the only person he has in this world left, for a bill I was just trying to use my debit card to pay. I should have just charged it! And then someone had made a comment about well maybe you were just leaving your son so you could run off. Something to that nature and it was wrong and it was the wrong family to say to. EVERYTHING ABOUT THAT HAUNTS ME AND I'M DEALING WITH ANXIETY WITH MY CHILD BECAUSE OF IT. The police walk me to my car where of course I did find my debit card and pay. But it was a circus for absolutely no reason. And the damage it's done, my son witnessing that thinking in his mind the whole time I'm about to lose the only person I have in this world.
I have done nothing but experience anxiety attacks ALL THE WHILE pretending not to so I can tend to my 11 year old's stress, tears and anxiety attacks that did not...
Read moreTerrible service. Went in yesterday, paid in cash and had tipped the server 10%, because 1, she didn't pay attention to us or the people next to us at all, after asking several times for refills and the people next to us asking for their check 3 times. And 2, they were arguing in the back, making it pretty uncomfortable. Also the waitresses were just standing and talking and staring at me while I ate which also made it pretty weird. After tipping the waitress she came back and dropped the tip onto the table and said "is THIS what I deserve" and she rolled her eyes and walked away. Not once coming back because I asked for a to go box. She said it pretty loud too publicly embarrassing us, btw her tip was $7 out of our $23 order so was a bit more than 10%. Didn't talk to a manager, but I think I'm going to call today. She was really by far the rudest waitress we've ever had. We had no idea what to do after that either, just sat there for a minute thinking "did that just happen??" Got up, took our change, and walked out. I'm sorry but if you're expecting good service, you're better off going to McDonald's. Not even joking. Was highly disappointed and definitely lost future customers. If I could give this place zero...
