The Park JJ — Hotel in Houston

We really enjoyed our stay at Park JJ. Our room was simple but had everything you could want. The bed was comfortable, the room was quite and check in was very easy. The host were very responsive if you had any questions and all the info provided covered just about everything. Only issues I could see anyone having is the water. They let you know that the pipes take awhile to heat up so turn the sink on to get it going. It's quick after that. The lock is all controlled by your cell phone which worked great. This spot is great! You can’t beat the location. You can get anywhere in town on the 82, and there are tons of walkable bars, restaurants, parks, and museums/art. The bayou is less than a mile away. The rooms are comfy and nicely maintained. I live in the neighborhood, and I have had out of town guests stay here multiple times and even used them myself when I needed to vacate my house briefly. The owners are super nice, and the cleaning staff even helped me recover lost items...

Clean and relaxing place to stay within walking distance of Antique stores, shopping, food, and, most importantly, ice cream! I'd love to go when we're not in 100+ degree weather so I could really enjoy walking the area.

The walls are super thin so you'll hear your neighbors as they come and go. The bed was super soft and kinda lumpy. This was an issue for me, but for a couple days, I could do it.
