I had a wonderful experience at Ola Mexican Kitchen with my family. We were looking for a place with a nice view and we found this gem on the beach. The restaurant is cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. They gave us some great recommendations for food and drinks. We ordered four tacos: Baja Fish, Blackened Shrimp, Pork Belly, and Taco of the Month. The Baja Fish taco had crispy beer-battered cod, cabbage slaw, pico de gallo, and chipotle aioli. It was light and crunchy. The Blackened Shrimp taco had spicy grilled shrimp, mango salsa, avocado, and cilantro lime crema. It was sweet and tangy. The Pork Belly taco had braised pork belly, pickled red onion, cilantro, and salsa verde. It was crispy, tender, and flavorful. The Taco of the Month was a special creation that changes every month. When we went, it was a birria taco with tender beef stewed in a rich broth, melted cheese, onion, cilantro, and a side of consomé for dipping. It was savory and satisfying. The Baja Fish Burrito was also very good, with fresh fish, rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, and creamy sauce. It was wrapped in a warm flour tortilla and served with chips and salsa. The portions were generous and satisfying. I also enjoyed the Phantom Bride IPA, which was one of the many beers they have on tap. They let me sample a few before I decided, which I appreciated. The beer was hoppy, citrusy, and refreshing. The best part of the meal was the view. We had a table by the window and we could see the ocean and the sunset. It was breathtaking and romantic. We felt like we were on vacation. Ola Mexican Kitchen is a great place to enjoy some authentic Mexican food and drinks with a stunning view. I highly recommend it and I can’t wait to go back.

Brought the family here this weekend. The hostesses were friendly and sat us quickly for a late lunch. Tom, our server, greeted us with a warm smile and was very pleasant. He listened attentively and gave us solid recommendations of what to order. The margaritas were tasty and the food was delicious. The expansive ocean views were awesome. We ordered the homemade guacamole which when brought out was very spicy - almost inedible. I wasn't a fan but my wife liked it. The tacos we ordered weren't just the standard Mexican slop or street tacos you find elsewhere. They were seasoned to perfection and cooked well. Tom was super helpful and attentive throughout our long lunch. Our young kids were getting a bit restless towards the end and Tom made sure to help us speed it up. If I was hiring, I would have hired Tom on the spot and poached him from this restaurant. The manager should high five him and give him a raise in my opinion. Minus one star due to the overly spicy guacamole and the to go bag that was missing a few of our leftovers, including our chips and about half of our rice.

I was really underwhelmed and disappointed with Ola’s Mexican Kitchen. My sister and I went for dinner and we saw lots of great reviews online about the tacos, so we were pretty excited about the food. But the guacamole that we tried as an appetizer was oddly extremely spicy, which we just don’t encounter a lot. So definitely an element of preference there, because that’s something we don’t enjoy as much. But the chips that they served with the guac and as an appetizer were delicious they had a really nice seasoning to them and they were fresh and warm. The tacos on the other hand were not so great. I had a lobster taco and I was totally disappointed in the quality of the lobster. It was rubbery, overcooked, and had a weird fishy taste to it. The Al Pastor that I tried was great, the pork was cooked well so I don’t have any complaints there. The third taco that I tried was the steak, and it was cooked alright, but the other condiments added to that taco were kind of underwhelming. Ultimately I wouldn’t go back, it was a pricey meal for not that great of quality.

Was unsure about this place when reading the reviews.. but then found myself back here twice in two days lol First time - it was the VIEW. You can look to get a seat (even booth!) overlooking the entire beach.. literally perfect to just hang out, grab some drinks and appetizers.. and chill. Which is exactly what we did for a late lunch Food was good.. stand outs were the tacos.. the sauces they use.. like a tangy spicy one w/ mango or something.. tasty! They also have a VERY spicy habanero salsa for anyone who loves spice.. and it is FIRE. Trust me.. but so so good bc it has the smokiness from the peppers! Second time - came for a late brekkie, early brunch! The watermelon salad was surprisingly good.. pretty interesting how they seared the watermelon.. but it retained its juiciness.. got it with shrimp so it was pretty hearty Salmon was on point too Overall, imagine this is a good spot for cocktails, beers and chillin with a view. The food is what you’d expect (good but nothing to write home about)

If you know what Mexican food tastes like, make a u turn, this restaurant is NOT for you. The flour tortillas, even though they make them there, had the preservative smell and taste. The chile relleno sauce tasted like pure lemon. The Chiles poblanos were good, I just had to separate them from the sauce. The rice was the one that tasted most like a Mexican dish. So if you've never had Mexican, this restaurant may work for you. It was actually packed. So it was good for all the previous people who had left a positive review. The view was nice as well. To summarize, if you like authentic Mexican tasting food, keep looking. If you've never really had real Mexican food, this may work for you because you won't know the difference. Overpriced as well. I paid close to $100 for a kids burrito, enchiladas, Chiles rellenos, rice and beans, and two beverages. Maybe I'm thinking it's overpriced because I regretted eating there.
