Me and my girlfriend have been here a 3 times and all three times the experience has been a little bit different. Food is always on point I disagree with some of the reviews on the food because I have ordered sushi, bento boxes, ramen, appetizers and lots of drinks nothing has been disappointing as far as food goes. I love the atmosphere me and my girlfriend agree it gives a very comfortable and modern Asian feeling, coming here has been very relaxing and is a lot different than other options for food. I would gl so far as to say that their food is some of the best I've ever had. I have had zero problems with portions and I think people get upscale/high quality and budget/quantity confused. In my opinion the food is reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes seem to align with that. The ramen 10/10 its brothy, has a very complex flavor and all the ingredients blend together well with great presentation. I thinks service has been iffy however. Our first visit was great there was a younger gentleman kind of tall with glasses who kind of reminded me of Harry Potter he was great and did a good job of educating us on the dishes. The last two visits were some ladies who delivered subpar service. Tonight was the worst so far though, when we first got there I had some questions and she was quick to say she didn't know but wasn't interested in finding out for me and throughout the night she was kind of snappy and seemed like she had a problem with us, we were taking a little bit to decide on what we wanted so we had to request for extra time quite a bit and she kept coming back in about 5 minute intervals which isn't really a problem but she have off the feeling she was becoming annoyed and was expressing it very clearly on her face. After serving us she was quick to go back to her phone and chat it up with her Co workers but did not like coming back to her table. Finally when requesting Wasabi for our sushi she literally threw it on our table and walked away there is a camera right at us so please look. Towards the end of our visit when we asked for the check is when she started being a little more attentive and nicer but it was too late for lack of a better description. Read moreWe tried this restaurant on January 19, 2024 for dinner. I’ll start the review with the food then the service. We ordered a bowl of Spicy Seafood Ramen, Red Snapper Nigiri, Sweet Shrimp Nigiri and the Lion King Sushi Roll. The presentation of the food was pretty. The ramen could’ve had more flavor, it was spicy but needed more seasonings. The nigiri and sushi roll were good.
The service wasn’t good. Our waiter started off well. He greeted us and we told him it was our first time here. We also mentioned that we weren’t in a hurry. He made some sushi recommendations that we agreed upon only to find out that the specials were lunch only. We were ok with the dinner prices and kept them on our order. At this point we figured he was new and learning the menu too. On to the bad service. He continually checked on us (at least 10 times) which was too much! We drove an hour to get here and just wanted to enjoy our food. We figured it was because there was no one else in the restaurant. On about his 10th trip to our table he had his jacket on and asked us if we were ready to tap out. Thought this was strange and unprofessional. At this point we decided it was time to leave. As we were in our car getting ready to leave, we saw our waiter get in to his car and leave. I feel that the whole time he was waiting on us he just wanted us to leave so he could go home. There were other waitstaff in the restaurant that he could’ve transferred our check to. He could’ve also asked us to cash out with him then assign us a new waiter.
The service is the reason I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Read moreProbably the worst waiter service I've ever been given. Came in 3 hours before close and I was only one of three tables with more waiters on standby in case it got busier. It didn't get busier, and by the time I left I was the only one there. I say all this to provide context for the rest of this review. The girl that served me could give less of a you know what. This is the first time I've given a waiter no tip, but I believe it was deserved. I had to grab a different waiter many times to get refills on my water because she wouldn't check in on me, unless it was to serve me something I had ordered. I ordered takoyaki and wasn't warned that it would be burning hot on the inside. Burned my mouth as a result and could hardly taste anything for a week. After 20 minutes went by without her checking on me, I grabbed one of her coworkers to fetch her so I could order something, which was a bit embarrassing as I'm not trying to be rude. Ordered sushi which was high quality, but not high enough for the price point. Then I finished it and went to the bathroom. While I was in the bathroom my waitress finally came around to clear the table when I hadn't asked and left the check which I didn't ask for. I came back, sat for 10 minutes, and asked her coworkers again to grab her as I wasn't done eating yet and wanted to order something else. Mind you, this is probably the fifth time I've grabbed other waiters for things mine should be helping me with. I tried to hide my frustration as much as possible because I didn't want my food to get spat on. Never coming back to this place ever again....
