Hutchinson Inn — Hotel in Hutchinson

This place deserves no stars at all. I book through Expedia now I’ve stayed at some pretty low class hotels in my day but this one was by far in my top two of never ever again. Smelled the animal urine as soon as I walked in. Doors to enter around the hotel were unlocked you don’t need a key card to enter. Once I found my room and entered it the smell still was very strong and the latch for the door was missing. The deadbolt did work however but it was so overwhelming for me. The lady at the front desk was so nonchalant it was very rude. No eye contact no thank you after I was checked. When I gave her my DL I placed it in her hand but I had my hand out to receive it back. She sat it on the counter what was that about it felt racial but aye. This place did not feel safe and I wish it never came across my search in the Expedia app. My advice to anyone and myself first is never book a room through third party vendors until you see the state of the property. I am hoping Expedia can give me a full refund. If not I am not booking through them anymore. This is ridiculous for real. Disgusting hotel. I just left without a word to the staff because I know me. Then the lady was at the front desk in her T-shirt and underwear. Who does stuff like that just nasty. Wish I had taken pictures!

Expedia did give me a full credit to make up for the position this nasty place put me in. I went to a different hotel and paid less for more quality. I never went back into the hotel because I know me and I didn’t want to get into with these rude people. I took the high road and left immediately once I saw the condition of the hotel. Expedia needs to remove this hotel from its platform...

It was horrible on the very first night my daughter so happen to open the door for the fact that the door will unlock frm inside jus by pull the handle down so I was mentally n physically tired didn't hear the door open and my daughter was gone only god knows how long b4 the Indian dude that work's there find my daughter outside crying so in instead of him asking the people that was stayn n the room's if the child belongs to anyone n the room's b4 he call the law inforcment of course I think tha it's only commonsense jus when he ask how many people was n the room first when i checked n I thought he understood when i was stating it tha my daughter was autistic my baby was gone almost all night and I almost died n pain for the fact my baby was out there alone when she's so dependent never left my sight bus jus for the fact that the door lock would unlocks automatic like tha and m stll looking for a attorney to clarify that m nt a irresponsible parent I though we're safe indoors and THOUGHT I could gt a lil rest and the my bbygirl would b ok n the room but some people r so ignorant n comes to America to work on profetional business like ths and don't even speak ingles properly and some one like my daughter hv to suffer the consequences of some incompetents choices on the heat of...

We just wanted a cheap place to sleep before we headed to the Cosmosphere and salt mine. We typically like to patronize independently owned operations of all kinds. I find trip advisor to be very reliable information. With that said this is in fact a 2 star motel with a 2 rating at best. We wanted a lower level room they only had 2 doubles. The woman said we could have that room for the same rate as a queen "IF you do not use the other bed." That was a first, we should have just peeled out at that point.The pool has been filled in, they should at least grow some veggies in there. The general exterior is what you would expect for a 2. The room was not exceptionally clean. The bed was horrible, sheets pilly, flat pillows and just plain bad. Water was hot. Towels were not absorbent.
