So I'm going to state that I stayed at this hotel for a business event trip because I got the room super cheap. I knew at that price what I was walking into. And I'm also going to state that I was very pleasantly surprised with it overall. Was it perfect? No. But I was happy and my traveling companion was safe while I was working. At first glance you definitely question why you're staying there. It's an outdoor style so there's no hallways. You park right outside your room. It's two stores and I requested a non smoking bottom floor which I got. As someone who has worked in the hotel industry, there are a few things that I look over before I unpack once I enter a room. The first thing I checked for is any sign of bugs(bed, floor or otherwise). The room passed the bug inspection with flying colors. I only found two flies and I'm pretty sure they came in when I did. The next thing I check is using my ultraviolet light to see how much the room lights up. I was very pleasantly surprised at how little there was. Sure a couple of spots like behind the toilet lit up, but who cares? It's not like I'm ever going to be touching that spot while I'm staying there. The shower was perfectly clean, the sink while yes it had cracks, was clean. The counters, the dressers, the table, all of that was clean. Yes there is some wall damage, some dust in random spots and some paint was peeling, so it's not the most visually appealing room but who cares. Honestly, you're mostly just staying at a place so that you can sleep, not so you can stare at the walls and contemplate your life's existence. The only thing that I could fault in terms of that was, I can definitely tell that they clean their bed sheets in house. (Nothing writing with that, the room prices would be higher if they used a company, but maybe they should lighten the loads they run just a bit so they get a bit cleaner) The towels were clean but the sheets could have used a bit more. I did not sleep on the sheets. They were definitely not the worst I have ever seen but to compromise, I just slept on top of the comforter. The AC / heating unit was awesome! Honestly the unit in that room was quieter than most I have dealt with in high-dollar hotel rooms. It cooled the room down super fast and the fan setting was quiet enough to just be white background noise. The mattress itself was comfortable too. Not super hard nor too soft. Now onto the best feature about this stay. The shower. One, the tub itself is NOT tiny. You can take a nice bath if you want too. But honestly the best part was the shower head. It was an adjustable type and it had a setting for massage which meant that I could actually get my back to finally relax. Their hot water gets super hot and it is amazing. I have damage on my spine and I probably just stayed under that water for a good 40 minutes and it was still hot when I got out. Overall I'm happy with my stay. A few other people that traveled and stayed at 2 other hotels(not OYO) had things that they didn't like about their hotels. One person their room was flooded with ants and the other said her room smelled like vape, the water pressure sucked and didn't stay hot. The room I got had no smell to it and the water pressure was amazing. 4/5 will stay there again. The location was 5 minutes from where I needed to be. You really can't get any better than that.

Why am I giving such a high rating? Because the owner/manager and his wife are keeping kind people that if you have any issue and address it to them they will correct the problem the best they can. For the price and location it is well worth the price. Could I complain about things? Sure, but I didn’t pay $100+ per night to stay here. I stayed in room #115 and was suppose to have a non-smoking room, but there was an ash tray when I went into the room that still had ashes left in it and the room smelled faintly of cannabis. If I had a problem with it I could have let the manager know and he definitely would have made sure I got a different room. I didn’t have a problem with it so I didn’t say anything. Most of the negative reviews I’ve read, it’s clear that the customers never even let the manager or staff know or their complaint before leaving a negative review. I’m probably going to go back in a week or two and may stay there for a few weeks to a month while I look for housing.

Absolutely disgusting. Roaches and bugs. Broken lamps, bad light bulbs. Stains, stains on everything, stains on the walls and the recliner, the ceiling, and, worst of all, the bed. Actual old male emission stains on every one of the sheets - and, of course, a dead bug too. We arrived late at night, the guy was sleeping in back. I had to knock loudly to wake him up. The "covid" barrier was too thick and I couldn't hear him. We lasted five minutes getting more and more grossed out the more we investigated. Got a refund and ran from that garbage hotel. Stay far away.

I paid for the room via the app, get to the motel to pick up the room key and then find out there is a $60 deposit to pay before you are allowed into your room. Not the end of the world, but the heads up before I got there would have been nice. Finally, get to the room and it is disgustingly dirty. I had to wipe down the bathtub before I could put my sick 5 year old in the bathtub due to black smears all over the tub and shower walls. There was noticeable dirt and debris from traffic in and out of the room all the way around the baseboards and the air conditioner didn’t wanna work or stay on. It was so hot and muggy in the room that it felt cooler to have the door open and let the air from outside into the room. Then after waking up and gathering our things to leave, I get down to the office to get my deposit back from the owner and he informs me that due to a third person (whom was not listed when I booked the room) coming and going multiple times he was going to keep a third of my deposit. This was even after I had explained to him that I do not have a vehicle and my son was extremely sick and I had needed to get him some medicine and a few other things from the store and the person coming and going had been a saving grace and came to see what all we needed, went to the store and picked everything up, and then brought it back to me and left. They came back one other time to check on us and that was it. He told me that I was making excuses and that I was told I couldn’t have any visitors. After explaining to my boyfriend what happened, he went up there to get our money back and the man straight up denied the fact that he kept any of the deposit at all. This place is a JOKE and I would highly recommend you go stay at either of the hotels a block down the road (either West or East). You will get a much better quality room for only a few dollars more as well as far more respectable people in which you’re renting from. This all happened not even a week ago...

It's was less than basic hotel standards, stayed with my 2 young sons. I needed wifi for the weekend, and to get away from a nagging mother. There was issues with my key cards, the bathroom door didn't shut all the way, there were extremely dirty walls, the bathtub had a massive amount of hair in the drain. There was a very cold draft by the entrance causing us to keep the window heater constantly running. There was one table and two chairs, so for lunch we had to arrange the room so another person can sit at the table to eat.

The beds were not fresh linen, I had to go back home to get our own blankets, put a plastic cover over the beds just to sleep on them. My wake up call never called, I did get a check out time call. There was no clock in the room. Requested extra towels, they never came until we left for dinner. Everything in the room was set for two people or a single person, not for a mother and 2 children. I don't believe I'll be visiting this hotel again. Although they had a pool, it was outside in the middle of the parking lot entrance on the west side of the property. Since it was much too cold to actually go swimming, I'm glad we didn't. The pool was in full view of the public traffic, the parking lot, and the hotel guests.

They did have fresh paint outside the hotel. That's the only appeal about this location. If I hadn't been refused my refund we wouldn't have stayed...
