Sunset Pawn Inc — Local services in Hutchinson

Went to Sunset pawn and Jewelry the other day, to try and sell some coins because I previously sold a brand new 243 rifle still in the case once there. Looked around and realized only one employee there. Saw the prices on there coins and thought it was a joke and was going to leave when the staff said I'd be right with you sir. I said probably not but okay then. He asked what I needed and I sad probably not much I have coins to sell, but your prices are way too low for me and he said come on man. You probably have nothing anyways but let me see. I said I can show you picture you can zoom in better. He said I want to see the real deal please I said it is in my pocket man. You can see clearly in the pictures man. He started flipping out and I am calm as a cucumber still and I started walking away and said well I am serious I sold stuff here already look me up and handed him my license and he start getting annoyed with me and said oh come on man you never bought anything from her man please. I said here you are not even listening to me. He said go across the street that guy will give you a fair price for your change guy. I said that salt city change man rips people off please. Then he flipped it, oh that guys not a crook he has done me well for 35 years man and is walking all over the store upset like a chicken with his head cut off . While customers are still inside and I am like calm down please you are so excited over nothing I have a 1943 S penny double stamped and you want to give me nothing for it and I know right now it is worth anywhere from $100- $400 circulated right now on eBay this week. That guys reviews across the street he has three reviews and are week at 3 one of them is, "The owner was extremely rude. We came in with some things to possibly sell, not knowing anything about them and not expecting a whole lot anyway...but right as we walked in the man took one look at us and said he wasn't interested in anything we had. I was put off but he took a look anyway at only half of the coins and made a small offer, with a very snobby attitude. We ended up getting more than twice what this shop offered with friendly service at Phil's in Wichita." And yours are trailing behind him are just as weak. So what does he do, but kicks me out and then follows me out to the public street and follows me to the car like he is going to threaten me. What a creep! If I was you I would shop at Sunset Pawn I would look for a place with Hutchinson in the name I have sold guns there as well, and they still remember me. Just father into town for me. I live in the country, hence why I have all these guns that I sell. I live far away from guys like that guy at Sunset Pawn and Jewelry. Here is a picture of the same coin I had since I found mine in the 80's. But his gut doesn't know me I am from Arizona not Kansas. He can keep deleting this too, I have the freedom of speech. I will eventually use my constitutional rights. And permanently post this. I have this right! He tried to screw me. I have been collecting coins since the 80's and he didn't look at one single coin, just blew his lid and acted like a dweeb. because I called him and salt city coin on the spot. Well, people have the right to know! Don't trust this guy! He acted like he wanted to fight, and he is surrounded by guns right? Watch out...

I had purchased and traded items here in the past. Today I went to look at guitars. I plugged in a couple different ones played a few chords. Then one caught my eye so I got it down. Price tag said 949.99. noticed it was a very nice instrument with a member of Metallica's name on it. I no sooner sat dn and a employee comes over and goes off on me for having it. We don't play with that he says it's a 2000$ guitar. I said ok but it's 949.00 and he won't stop. See the sign he says very rudely. I honestly didn't or I wouldn't have touched it. Then the manager starts in on me. I'm like OKAY CHILL. But he is also very rude. I really didn't understand why they went off. I'm not an irresponsible 62 yr old with no money. I'll never go in there again and I won't be giving recommendations for anyone else to. Just so happened I had 1500 in my pocket. Wish I'd have...

There are sometimes in the day when a little voice says "stop there". My inner voice told me to stop at Sunset Pawn after work to see if they have trigger locks. We are licensing for foster care and they are a must have. Greatful for the understanding of our plight and how helpful the guys were. I was in and out in 5 minutes. They were understanding of my lack of knowledge and knew exactly what I was talking about. Thanks guys!...
