That place has been created by those who knows sense in retreat. If you find escape from noisy busy town you should take that place into consideration. Atmosphere is wonderful here, fireplace create vibes of relaxation and calmness. Bog panoramic windows give you 120 degree street perspective. There are a lot of wild animals and birds. The sound of Nature covers you from the top to the toes. A lot of beautiful place are in the area: mountains, forests, lake and river. It is beautiful around the year. I spent wonderful unforgettable time in woodland park manor. Highly recommend.

Perfect little spot for a getaway! My boyfriend and I stayed in the cottage in the woods which is towards the back of the property down its own little driveway. Loved the fireplace and it had a charcoal bbq in the private backyard. Probably like 2 minutes drive to the shops/downtown and you could walk if it was a nice day out. DVD's are available to rent at front desk. Bed was comfy and staff was super friendly. Would definitely come back :)

Wonderful location, serene, we have come here before I was born, and it's been a great spot to relax by the pool, walk in the area, drive to local hiking trails, or sit in the local park.

This is a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cabin. 2 story. We had 3 couples that stayed here and it was just fine and since we were all family that was ok with only the 1 full bath, but if you're not family just note that you are all sharing that one bathroom. The half bath is on the main floor next to the kitchen. There is only ONE TV in this cabin which, again, depending on your preference may be just fine..we brought our iPads so we could watch movies on Netflix in our bedroom. WiFi is very good. There is plenty of hot water but wished the shower head was different...it could use a change since its old and the spray goes everywhere and the drain is a bit slow. Fully stocked with all the kitchen appliances you may need. Furniture was comfy although with 6 adults we also sat on dining room chairs when watching a football game. Does have central heat & air that works very well. It was very cool at night and early mornings so we had the heat on and the upstairs (which are the bedrooms & full bath) could get a bit warm & stuffy. There is no dishwasher in the cabin. Also there is no washer & dryer either in case you need them. It was a very nice cabin for the weekend and we enjoyed our stay, however the worse part of the whole cabin - like the name states - are the stairs up to the cabin!! The driveway is extremely (no joke!) steep so how you would manage that during the winter with snow and ice without a 4 wheel drive is beyond us....and there is no room to turn around so either way you go up you have to make sure you dont fall off the side or run into the wall.....and the steps going up to the cabin are steep and plenty!! Literally at times we (and we aren't THAT out of shape! HA) had to stop midway to catch our breath - and there is no hand rail to hold onto...and my brother's in-laws are elderly so that was tricky for them.....if you have any kind of health issue where you can't climb, are in a wheelchair, anything of that nature - this is NOT the...

The Stonewood Cabin (just one option of woodland) is an isolated cabin surrounded from three directions by a huge porch, located high on a hill at 6,200ft, looking north with miles of forest underneath, and snowy peak of Big Bear at the horizon. We took this cabin several times in the past because of its superb location, but this time for our surprise the cabin was completely renovated and generously equipped with top quality products. The mattress, (the secret menace of all vacations:-) ) was amazing! wide, not too soft, and does not wake you up when your partner moves. Kitchen, has every tool you can imagine, and of great quality. Kids loft, the kids secret hideout with two beds, an essential requirements for our teenagers (second to WiFi of course:-) ) SPA was ready for us but due to the weather we didn't dare to try (but I heard its engine circulating the water from time to time) I loved their fire place (my weakness) it is completely sealed so no smoke or CO can come out, yet its heavy metal convey all the heat to the room (I still needed to google for its manual to operate its air flow handle..) Great selections of DVDs, bose sound and 50" flat panel, the kids loved it. A lot of expensive LED lights and dimmers (another weakness I guess :-) ) Get...
