We've had an excellent stay at this hotel. Checking in was a breeze; the staff is very efficient. The hotel also offers a free cookie and a cup of coffee if you'd like one when checking in.
Our room was clean and perfect in every way. We stayed in a suite with two queen beds and a pull-out couch. This room included a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and two large flat screen televisions. There were plenty of drawers. There was a nice desk to work at with an additional bench is in the room. The couch is comfortable and L- shaped . The L-shape is especially nice because you can still sit on the end even when the pull-out section is open. My adult son slept on the pull-out couch. He said that while it isn't as comfortable as a regular bed, he slept on it for three nights just fine and would happily do it again. The "coffee table" is unique; it is in three hexagon pieces that fit together in whatever shape you prefer to use them.
Breakfast was amazing. So many choices! Beautifully displayed and delicious. One of the waffle irons had full-sized waffles and the other one had the ability to make smaller individual waffles which was a nice touch if you weren't very hungry or if you had children. They also provided trays for you to carry your food to your table. It was a nice setting to eat in. It was bright and sunny - plenty of windows. There are also a couple of very comfortable couches facing the television off to the side if you want to watch the news or game while eating breakfast. There are many tables available of varying sizes. There is even a family-sized table that seats eight in a slightly private area if you prefer. It is tastefully decorated with large open spaces. All of the staff were professional and polite. Of note, Liberty was helpful and kind, especially when we found ourselves in a difficult situation because we ran into car trouble and had to stay an extra night. She made the whole process as painless as possible. We felt very welcome here and we would be happy to stay again....
Read moreIf I could give this place less than 1 star I would. This is going to be a very long review. I held nine rooms for my wedding on August 19th in April. They were good in the beginning, I had one room cancellation and they called me right away and I gave the room up. Then the day of my wedding Jordan called me twice in the middle of pictures and told me “ we had a computer crash and lost all your guest information, I was wondering if you have any of it?” I replied “No I don’t know who had a room at the hotel.” She replied with “we have an angry guest, and was wondering if you still needed those room.” I replied with “yes, I have family from South Dakota. I can’t leave them stranded.” ( I was never told I have five available rooms still. If I did I would have gave them up.) The next day I checked my credit card and I got charged for those five rooms! I was never told about their policy or receive any confirmation on the rooms. I called the day after my wedding and was upset. I talked to Jordan again I got upset and did yell. There was some swear words used, but not calling her names. I wasn’t nice at all but who would be with that many charges on their account? I calmed down and gave her my number to have her manager call me. Then she stated “ I don’t see the point of you talking to the manager, she is going to tell you the same thing I did.” So I got mad again and Jordan hung up on me. The next day the GM Katie called me. First, I did apologize for my how I acted the pervious day and then I explained to her my side and she basically called me a liar. I told her my mom was next to me when Jordan called and Katie brushed it off and sounded like she didn’t care. We went back and forth for awhile and we were getting no where so I hung up on her. I would never stay here or even recommend this hotel. I did find out a few days after my wedding that two rooms were canceled and I was...
Read moreI came to visit my granddaughter who was staying at the hotel and was appalled at what i saw. Over the 2 days i came and saw my granddaughter there was an issue with the manager on duty - Jade. Several times my granddaughter tried to talk to someone at the front desk and nobody came out, eventually she peeked into the office to try find someone and saw a gal who we later saw was the manager on duty (couldn't see her name as it was covered with a sweatshirt). She was apparently enthralled by her cell phone. Finally she got the extra towels and shampoo she needed. At another point this same "manager" was making videos of herself out in the lobby with cursing music playing while my granddaughter and i visited by the breakfast couch. I could hardly believe it, and this behavior from a manager no less!!! Other than this one awful employee, things were well kept throughout the hotel. My granddaughter and i appreciated the other attentive staff and wonderful rooms but don't think either of us will be back after my granddaughter saw the videos disparaging the customers. Thank you for the response but you wouldn't find the reservation under my name as my granddaughter was the one with the room. She chose not to write a review herself as she has discovered friends in common with this employee. After hearing from my granddaughter how this employee has continued videotaping since we stayed last year, i needed to write this review on my own accord to let people know they are being mocked on the internet. I am certain you could find these videos yourself. I don't need a free night as i would rather...
