I purchased a sectional with a chaise and Queen platform bed with mattresses. Both are very nice. However when moving in the largest part of the sectional they damaged it and broke the wood trying to force it in a narrow door frame. I know that these can’t be professional movers because my mom had to explain to them on how they could get it on without trying to force it. When they finally got it in I noticed the wood was broken. By the time I got outside they were gone. So I called spoke to the supposedly “manager” Melvin and a few others. I was told they would have to get a credit from Ashley furniture upon approval from the manager, which I was ok with. This all happened on 10/10/2020 which was a Saturday and I know they are closed on Sundays so I knew I had to wait until Monday for my needs to be satisfied and was told to call then. Well Monday comes 10/12/2020 and I was blowing their phone up however I couldn’t get through as if my phone was off. I called from another number and it was answered immediately and I knew then my number had to be blocked from calling. They told me it was a store number and no one blocked my number (then why I couldn’t get through from my number). I spoke with Melvin again and explained I spent too much money to have half of sectional and that they could just bring me a whole new sectional and wait for a credit while damaged one was there and it’s not my fault that their movers didn’t know what they were doing. So he expressed that this was ridiculous and could he place me on hold to see what was going on (if you’re a manager you would know). I was on hold for 40 minutes. I had to go to work so I sent my dad to their store. I told my dad either they give me furniture or give me my money back. Now fast forward to today 10/15/2020. My dad explained to me that he spoke with them on 10/14/2020 that they would deliver my furniture between 12pm-3pm 10/15/20. At 2:40 pm I realized I had not been contacted and I let my dad know so he can call since I can’t get through to them from my number. Melvin told him they were going to deliver it but wasn’t coming inside that they were going to leave it outside for us to move it in because his movers didn’t feel safe bringing it inside because they might damage it again. Well my dad is on his way up there now. At this point, no I will not refer anyone to them and they will not EVER get business from me again. They are very unprofessional...
Read moreAbsolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced! I ordered a Ashley sofa from them got it delivered and the delivery guys broke multiple lights getting in and would not replace them. Now 2 years later I need a part from Ashley and it's under Ashley's manufacturers warranty but because these people won't help me at all by simply sending a email requesting the part. I have to come out of pocket for something covered under warranty. Ashley requires the request to come from the seller to honor the warranty. After multiple emails phone calls and in store visits the guys will do nothing to help me. They always promise to get back in contact with me but after months of this headache nothing. It's great to buy something with a warranty and not get to use it because of these lazy incompetent people. Save yourself the hassle and don't buy from these people and tell your friends and family not to buy from this sorry excuse of a company.
Response to owner: absolutely none of this was ever communicated to me at all not by phone call email or in person so saying I said things like "unacceptable" and "unhappy" are very interesting to me I wonder who you spoke with? Who did you share my information with? I would love to see the email responses because they were not sent to me! In the end I'm not surprised that this untrustworthy company called me a liar to cover there laziness. I will continue my complaint with the BBB and continue to warn others of your deceptive ways and this is just the icing on the cake! I have documentation of my emails and phone calls and in store visits would love...
Read moreWe came in and bought a couch, the gentleman was very helpful & helped us find a couch we loved. We mentioned we could always come back and get the wedge because we were not sure how big our new living room would be. We told him that we have SNAP finance now and want something that does NOT go on our credit because we are in the middle of closing on the house and SNAP does not go on our credit so we wanted to do something like that. He said not to use WestCreek Financial because it reports to transunion but that Acima would be good and does not report to credit unless you request them too. We were qualified for $3000 and bought the couches using Acima. After 30 days, Acima reported to Experian staying my payment is $239 a month while in the process of closing on a house in which now they have taken back our approval for the original amount so we have to cancel our contract and loose our $1500 binder at title company. I called and asked to give them the couches back (30 days old) and they can keep all the money we have already paid which is roughly $300 the couches are brand new I just want the Acima off my credit. The manager said “well that wasn’t me who told you it was one of the other employees and I don’t do returns” he refused to help us. 10/10 do NOT recommend going somewhere so inconsiderate who will lie to get...
