I see a lot of good reviews on here so perhaps I went on a bad day? I got a shrimp tempura roll and hibachi steak as well as a drink for about 15 dollars. So far it seems like a good deal, right? Not really. In my sushi experience a shrimp tempura is is pretty much the same everywhere: Fried shrimp, cream cheese, avocado, wrapped in rice and seaweed paper, sometimes with roe on top. That's not the case here. Instead, for $7 you get a piece of fried shrimp, alone, wrapped in rice and torn seaweed paper. For a single roll that was both pricey and DRY. For the steak hibachi they don't ask how you want the steak cooked so it seems to default to well done. There wasn't any flavor to the steak not even salt and I received about a 4 ounce steak. The rice wasn't fried rice but white rice with a fried egg chopped up into it and there was very little egg at that. The "sweet carrots" that comes with the hibachi were really large pieces of boiled carrot with a touch of sugar. Now I just drive an extra 10 minutes to a delicious place...
Read moreI was somewhat apprehensive when I got there about 6:30pm on a Friday evening and there were hardly any customers. I ordered hibachi chicken fried rice and a side order of mixed vegetables. When I returned home with my order, I had lots of food, so much so I needed to separate the food to see, what was what. The rice was on the bottom and chicken and vegetables piled on top. I took what was supposed to be a side order of vegetables off and put them in a bowl. Then I put some of the rice and chicken in another bowl and left the rest in the container. As I began to eat, I had to stop. I wanted to continue because I was hungry, and I had spent my money. But the food was so greasy. The food was greasy to the point it had liquid grease in the corner like it was a side sauce and had begun to bother my stomach. I couldn't eat anymore of this food after taking only a few bites. It is sad because I spent time and money and I love Hibachi. I don't recommend this...
Read moreI know for a fact that everything is made fresh and made to order, they hand cut all the vegetables, meat and everything. The owner are some of the kindest hard-working people too! They hand make literally everything, the sushi the hibachi EVERYTHING, they always try to please the customers (and there are some very rude and demanding people coming through that place) and do a great job. It's only drive though right now but they do their best to be quick but I have seen alot of customers coming though expecting to get 5 star food at a McDonald's speed, so a tip is to call ahead and order and understand that these people are doing their best and are very...
