Guest House Motel — Hotel in Jefferson Township

I stayed here with my husband 3months while we were trying to find a new apartment that allowed dogs that's why our stay was so lengthy.The rooms are mediocre at best if it's hot out then dippending the room you are in, will be very hot. When it's below 40 degrees the heat is not strong enough out fingertips started to get numb,they say on the card remodeled NO except for the t.v. nothing has changed the worst part after all that is the maid beware of this 60ish old hag she speaks Spanish almost no English I didn't care about that but the fact that she is the meanest most disgusting human like thing we and our friends have ever met she went through our stuff believe me I know when something is missing,it was how evil she was at the beginning we tried to tip her as we do in other motels she would not take it like we were offering her drugs it's a five it won't bite,once I ran out of t.p and went to the front desk to ask for some I could not see her anywhere and as soon as I came out she attacked who do you think you are trying to make me look bad don't ever do it again etc I told her to go to hell in Spanish, always in a bad mood then one day she took this old table out the room and started screaming we are crazy we didn't know what to do so we said we will pay for your ten dollar thrift store find anything to shut her up so my husband beeing the kind person that he is went to the stairs on a 93 degree day to help her carry it down it was too heavy for her and she started arguing,pulling the top of the table all this caused my husband to have a gran not seizure he has had those before but this one was thanks to her so he ended up in the hospital for 4 days then they had the nerve to tell us to leave when our week is up and the husband and wife owners acted like they really liked us why wouldn't they the money we have given these people $375 every Wednesday for three months, they only have shopping networks me tv no cable channels only one when he feels like it I can't control it and you have to pay them 2 dollars in advance to make a call ancient and cheap wooden boards under the mattress just a mess overall do not come here I warned you. This motel was the worst ever experience we had in Chicago! We rented a room for 2 people, there was 4 of us and two of us were going to sleep in the van with our chihuahua. After we rented out the room, the owner saw the dog in the van and he got very upset that we didn't tell him we had a dog! I told him he is sleeping in the van. He got very upset at us and told us to get out! My mother is 85 years old and he kicked us out at 9:30 PM on to the street. The place stunked like Hindu food and we saw cockroaches as we were leaving. I am glad we didn't stay at that place, my clothes reaked from the stench in that room. It was a very bad experience for all of us and the Hindu people were very unpleasant and rude and barely spoke any English. This was THE WORST motel I ever had in my whole life and I travel a lot. WORST hotel ever. I travel a lot & thought I have seen worst hotel staff but this hotel get the trophy. Last week during my stay, temp dropped to 55 degree & no heat in the room. I asked the receptionist & he said heat doesn't turn on unless the temp drops below 50 degree.
