The people who work here are extremely nice

Considering that one may stop in at stupid o'clock... You be cool and they are cool.

The food here is solid.

The lentil soup is awesome. Really good!

Babba Ganoush isn't amazing , but it is tasty. They are generous in asking for tahini sauce. The Babba Ganoush isn't pretty much a "roasted eggplant puree". It is nice, just a bit different and may not be what you are used to.

Again, extra tahini....

This place is "Shawarma Inn"...

The meat is a bit overdone... Flavorful, but I like a bit more juice/ the idea that I am eating something that WAS alive. It's still tasty, tahini sauce helps.

But... I DO LIKE this place.

It's open 24hrs a day and they have been nothing but nice to me and serve very tasty food. They welcome everyone, yet this is a, for sure, cabbie Haven.

Think the first time I knew about this joint, was...

Today, around 1 PM, I entered this restaurant with the intention of having a meal. I asked the staff member if this was a halal café, and in response, she said with noticeable rudeness: “This is not a café, it’s a restaurant — look at the certificate there!” Her tone showed no willingness to assist. When I checked the certificate and tried to look at the menu, she suddenly said in a harsh manner: “Is that your car? Go move your car from here!” This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and offensive.

The staff member was wearing a cap and a t-shirt, and acted with clear hostility.

I can only recommend that your establishment reevaluate how staff are trained, especially when it comes to basic courtesy and respect toward customers. This kind of attitude completely ruined my appetite and made me walk away. Please pay attention to this issue for the good of...

Witnessed the most horrific thing on my last order. My best guess is that one of the owners was preparing my combination plate. The t-shirt he was wearing looked as if it hadn't been washed in weeks. The was no basic cleanliness being practiced, no gloves, hair net, apron, etc. He was just wearing his dirty street clothes. I was letting that all slide until he began preparing my takeout container. With one continuous movement he reached into and under the arm of his t-shirt to scratch at his sweaty armpit and then proceeded to touch and form the tinfoil in the styroform container with those same filthy, wet fingers. Standing there in shock I didn't know what to say as I was outnumbered 8 to 1 by his staff and friends. I got home and gave the meats to the outside feral cats and threw everything else in...

Great hole in the wall kind of vibe. A group of 4 of us got there around 6pm on a week night and it was empty, based on the looks of the place, I was a bit hesitant to stay. Ambience is not great. But menu was promising. Service was great- by time we ordered over 6 other tables filled up, places got packed. Quality beef shawarma and homemade soups- my friends said the beef Kefka was also very good. They have wraps for like $9-10 with fries and drinks for additional charge. Combo plates are huge, rice is tasty. The chicken kabobs was excellent- moist and flavorful!

This is definitely more of a bang-for-your-buck type of spot. We ordered a large baba ganoush, small hummus, and a mixed shawarma plate with lentil soup. The portions were surprisingly hefty. The shawarma was nicely charred but unfortunately dry and flavorless. The lentil soup, on the other hand, was hearty and delicious. The hummus was addictive: creamy, well-salted, and a good balance between nutty and tangy. The baba ganoush was more on the chunky side than creamy but I liked it. I especially enjoyed its intensely smoky flavor.

Lamb chops are very good and tender, shawarma entree is good, shawarma sandwich was full of veggies, but almost no sauce, so was kinda dry. Shish lamb sandwich was good and the meat was tender. Hummus was good, Jajig was very good and is recommended. well grilled food and served with lots of rice. Entrees are served with salad and lentil soup. The rice was warm and delicious. It's served with Arabic bread a.k.a. Shami/Lebanese bread, which is more famous and popularly used in middle east.
