Bel Ami Lounge — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I was there about a month ago, server was very rude and didn’t seem very attentive or responsive even though the place was mostly empty. We wanted to use two tables outside as we ordered food and the tables are small and the response was “no, I don’t care”. How’s that for customer service. As a note, there were 4 extra tables outside no one was using and there was no one inside the restaurant (at the time). We were 5 people at a small table and the table next to us was still empty when we left. I only had a dessert, which was ok, but the food portions seem generous. The staff and the host were rude. When my little sister and I entered, we had to wait 15min before the host came in and with suspicious eyes he said "can I help?!" He made us feel out of place. We sat down and the waitress said without even looking at us "do you need the menu?" Like what ? How can we order without menu? Finally we ordered crepes and the waitress was like "i am not sure if we have that" She went inside and never came back until another 15min. We felt apologetic as if we did something wrong. This place has nice atmosphere but extremely expensive!!!! the wait staff is a bit wired. They make certain drinks that are not on the menu and they charge an arm and a leg. One cups of coffee with ice cream One scoop, steamed milk and wipe cream, one shot of espresso and a bit of chocolate sprinkles and some ice $9.00 a pop. We ended paying $30 for three cups of coffee at a local coffee shop-wow. Not even Starbucks charges this much. Too expensive for a local coffee shop!!! Not going there again...
