My husband and I were ready to upgrade our Queen to a King. Mattress Firm was the first place we thought to go. Last Saturday, Jen greeted us at the door and got straight to work finding us our perfect mattress. She asked all the important questions, listened to our concerns, had us try a few mattresses, quickly narrowing it down. The third mattress was the winner but she didn't stop there. She had us try a couple more just to be sure. After that we went straight back to "our" mattress. A Sleepy Hybrid Firm.
She gave us great info and we took a week to think about it. A free adjustable base was part of the President's day sale but we needed to look into our options. We've never had one before so we wanted to get the right one for us. We found one on the website we liked.
Today, we went in and saw Jen again. She remembered us which really meant a lot. We showed her the adjustable base we liked but it was unfortunately out of stock, the older model. She did her magic and found us another in the same price range.
It was a great adjustable base but while we were in the market we wanted to know what other options were out there. She showed us a Tempur-Pedic Ergo that we fell in love with. Not only did the head and feet adjust but the massage and lumbar support was to die for. But with the added features, obviously came a higher price.
We asked to see one in between price ranges, which she happily obliged. That one was good, less expensive, and had just about all the features of the Tempur-Pedic except lumbar support. But the Tempur-Pedic also had something extra that really sold us. The lifetime warranty. This was a really big purchase for us so having a lifetime warranty on the base made paying more worth it.
Jen was an amazing salesperson, informative, personable, and persuasive without being pushy. She showed us mattresses within our price range and never made us feel uncomfortable for wanting to watch our spending. Even getting us an amazing deal on the base! She made us feel like we were friends and that she really cared about finding us the right mattress.

I really appreciate Michael, the store manager, for helping me out during this time. Even with the mishap I am very happy with how everything was handled.

My old mattress was like sleeping in a huge crater. Naturally, I decided to get a new mattress. I had tried a store model mattress of one that was clearance at another store. I really liked the store model, so I decided to get it and have it shipped to me. Received mattress on February 23rd. At first, it had a small crease/ divit in the center. I figured after a few nights of sleeping, it would even out. Now, a few months later and it feels like I traded out my old cratered mattress for another crater mattress and $800. It pulls you to the center. The ends all around the bed are probably a good 3-4 inches higher than the center. They will find any reason to deny your warranty claims. I submitted a claim on my king sized mattress for sagging that was about 4.5in deep on the side I sleep on. I’ve rotated the mattress many times over the last couple years but that side always sags. I went to the store and asked about the warranty and was instructed on how to submit the warranty claim as the mattress was still under warranty for such defects. I submitted everything as instructed and they denied my sagging claim because there was a small stain/discoloration on the mattress. The two things aren’t even related! Very disappointed in this because I just opened an account and went in store to purchase a new mattress but after this experience I will be purchasing elsewhere. Companies want to continue to take from consumers and provide less and less in return. The warranty is 10 years and covers against these kinds of defects so they should honor it. If the engine or suspension on a vehicle under warranty was failing, saying the car is dirty so we are denying the claim is asinine! These companies need...
