Starbucks — Restaurant in Jeffersontown

I have a small tradition; every Monday and Friday I stop for coffee for my coworker (and myself). There are two other Starbucks locations, with a drive thru, on my route but I always stop here. I take extra time to stop and walk-in to pick up my order because this location feels like my old routine. The atmosphere, the staff, just everything feels like an old friend.

I had a career change but I use to work in St Matthews Mall. I went to the same Starbucks before work for 12 years. I knew everyone - I enjoyed chatting with the baristas and other mall employees before I had to open my store. I get the same feeling from this location.

Overall great location. My only pet peeves, and this is with a lot of Starbucks locations, is that the inventory on the Starbucks app doesn't get properly updated.

I used to be able to consistently check in the app to see if a location had a particular item in stock before going there. However, lately I have had multiple instances where I get there and something is out of stock, and may have been out of stock for days, but it shows as in stock on the app.

I have had to stop ordering ahead because I've had 2 instances where I got to a location and had to get a refund because part of my order wasn't available. Not sure how much of this is a store side issue and how much is an issue...

I'm giving the company, not this location a 1star. Haven't had coffee in years so I stopped in as a random treat as I was tired. I ordered a mocha frap and what looked like a tasty banana nut loaf. I left and had my first sip in the car driving away and it was absolutely disgusting. Like chilled dirt with a spash of chocolate syrup mixed in. The whip cream has zero flavor at all, as if it's just purely for looks sake. And the banana loaf was moist, but was very bland. It was nothing more than something to fill my growling tummy. Sad I spent my first coffee in years as on this disappointment. Don't see what all the hype is over, plus it was $12. Definitely won't be back for...
