You can tell that whoever owns this property truly cares. As a past small business owner myself I love to see when people take pride in their property and these folks definitely do that and go above and beyond there was not only toilet paper on the roll, but an extra roll and when I’m staying at a budget location, I always bring my own Just in case because you never know what to expect . There is a gigantic TV with every TV channel known to man the refrigerator freezer actually works. The microwave is spotless. The hotel room floor is so spotless. I could actually walk barefoot with white socks my ADA service dog. I didn’t have to worry about walking on the floor and mopping the floor myself||First for his safety because it was so clean. It’s an older property and the air conditioner heater is older but it’s impeccably clean. You can tell that the filters clean it smells good even though this is an older property from back in the day when people could smoke in hotel rooms there is no cigarette smell in the room The toilet really flushes well which is a welcome change to mostestablishment. ||The hot water was great! The price is extremely reasonable. You have to accept that there’s some characters staying at this place and these folks can’t help it but you can tell that they try to definitely keep a handle on it and I feel very safe here as a single woman since my husband passed. It’s been different traveling, but I feel safe and secure this property. I think anyone else would as well oh, and I haven’t seen this in decades. There’s actually hangers where you can hang your clothes up. There is tons of storage in this room as well, so I’m traveling for business and this is so welcomed. There’s a place I can put my printer and I will actually be able to work at a desk on my computer instead of on the bed. And have room for my nice coffee pot, which I travel with. I would give these people 10 stars if I could seriously. And I’ve seen it all lately since the passing of my husband, the good the bad and the ugly. And I traveled the entire United States for a living back of the old days and I’ve stated everything from the Ritz Carlton to 1 million different Motel sixes and this is probably one of the best I’ve...
Read moreIf I was the owner of the Motel 6 business I would remove the name from this hotel. I wouldn't want to have the name associated with it. Upon arrival it was okay. After paying for a room I had to drive around to the back and on the way around there were about half a dozen derelicts hanging out and sleeping under the emergency exit stairs of the motel. Then was walking my dog and a gentleman came up to me and told me that for my safety that I needed to stay closer to the building because there is a homeless camp in the woods at the edge of the dog walk area. He told me it would be safer to park my car in front of his room so that he could hear if anyone was trying to break into it. Then in the room smoke detector was just laying on a shelf not hooked to the wall. The only things that were clean in the room were the floor around the bed and the bed itself. Later I was getting ready for a shower and got a washcloth out to use, unfolded it, and was disgusted by the stains and filth. When walking my dog later I would have to hurry to the front side of the motel where I found trash everywhere, disgusting! Upon checking out in the morning I believe it was the owner who played stupid for a minute about people sleeping on the ground under the fire exit and about the situation of the homeless encampment out back. Horrible place didn't feel...
Read moreThe staff were nice. Had no problem getting more towels, etc. Since Covid, most places only clean between customers, (unless you are staying longer than 3 days), so I wasn't expecting housekeeping to open my door the 1st morning. Water pressure and temp were good.
There were bags of trash by the over-flowing trash cans near our room. They were still there when we left 2 days later.
When we 1st entered the room, there was a cup of half-eaten soup on the shelf above the hangers. The microwave front was broken off and laying nearby. The microwave had not been cleaned inside. There were several used towels under the a/c, since it drips. The refrigerator also leaked. About 2 feet of baseboard on one wall was unattached.
While there, we killed several cockroaches.
The woods behind the place has a homeless population living there. They wandered the parking lot, but we had no trouble from them other than listening to a couple that did some yelling at each other. There were needles in the parking lot. On night 2, I thought I smelled burning plastic when outside, but someone informed me that it was the smell of meth!
When I let the front desk know about the microwave, she said she knows that the it's broken. Then why would they give us that room? They were...
