Burger King — Restaurant in Kent

NOV 2, 2025-EDIT- With possible EBT loss this month- IT WOULD SURE BE NICE TO HAVE THIS GC THAT THEY STOLE FROM ME!!! ;)

I actually stopped here a long time ago, probably over a year. They screwed me over on a gift card that I received from my work. I had spent a little bit of it, one time, and checked the gift card literally right before I went there. I gave them the gift card. The lady swiped it a few times and then handed it back to me and told me that it did not work. Then the balance on my gift card was $0. Not sure what happened, but they somehow used up over $17 of my gift card and I got nothing in return for it, I ended up having to pay for my order with my debit card instead. I even called a manager over who just swiped it once and told me there was no balance. I explained the situation and told him that I checked the balance literally in the drive thru and had only used it once before, for just under $8, and that the cashier had already swiped it a few times so it was pretty obvious that she had used it on a different order or something. The manager did not even try to fix the problem, he did not even look at other transactions, nothing to help or resolve the situation AT ALL!! He just RUDELY told me that there was no balance, and even tried to keep my gift card "to throw away". I got it back from him anyways, which he also gave me attitude about. Still no balance, but I was not about to give up the evidence.

Anyways I only stopped here because my man was super hungry and it was literally the only place to stop before we got on the highway.....

Do not plan on returning, simply because I do not take stealing lightly, mistake or not. I work hard for my money, and gift card or not, every penny...

This is one crazy Burger King. A couple summers ago, I pulled into their parking lot. I saw a charter bus with the engine running and a bunch of people on board. I was just going to order a Whopper. No drink. No fries. Just the burger. I had one person in front of me in line. She was taking forever to order. Seemed stressed. Pausing and hesitating. Eventually, she finishes, pays, and moves to the end of the counter. As I step up to the counter, I hear a stampede. 1 woman comes running out of the bathroom. Another woman tears the main entrance door open and runs full tilt to the counter saying "I'm with her" while gesturing to the woman at the end of the counter. Now I'm the meat in the middle of a 50 year old burger with a woman smooshed up against my left side and one on my right. I'm stunned and start trying to reason with them saying, "your friend already ordered and paid," like these hyped up tourists are going to care. Meanwhile, they start ordering and the worker starts taking their order, which seemed to be for the entire packed charter bus. Another time, I left Burger King with my food. As I got into my truck, a beat up dusty clunker came rolling in. It pulled into the handicapped spot in a trail of smoke. The occupant was smoking as much as the car with the window rolled down. I started backing my truck out of my space and a BK employee came out to his car and handed him some food. So, I guess they hand deliver to handicapped people. Who knew? As I move forward the handicapped car starts backing out blocking me egress. So, I swung around that eyhole and beat him to the exit as he laid on the horn swearing...

The assistant manager and the regular manager are remedial, my co worker and I decided to eat lunch here so we came to the drive thru, we told them we have 2 separate orders and it went down hill. I was confused on how can you not take 2 separate orders from 2 paying customers?? It wasn't 4 separate orders, just! Spoke to the assistant manager she says no we can't do that, as soon as I asked for the manager she got pissed and said ok I'm the assistant manager and you want the store manager sure (sarcastically), manager came coo signed that yes no separate orders at drive thru. I just said ok, looked inside and only 2 people in line, so it wasn't even busy we were regulars there until this happened, told my co workers not to go there and I'm sure McDonald's and other surrounding restaurants will have them closed down for good...BK in Kent and Burien suck and I suggest spending your hard earned money on friendly services and not at stupid places like this that have policies that don't make...
