Since we’ve moved to Kent my wife and I have bought our Christmas tree from here. This year will be our last time doing business with this place. We got our tree Thanksgiving weekend. After a few days we noticed that it wasn’t drinking water. We made sure the tree was cut prior to bringing it home and had it in water within 2 hours of purchasing it. Unfortunately for us it dried up in two weeks. Today we called to see if we could get a discount for a new tree. We weren’t even trying to get a new tree free of charge, we were willing to pay. The customer service rep asked if we had a receipt, we didn’t, but she said if we had our credit card statement we’d be fine. When we got to the lot we went straight to the customer service office, but instead of seeing a person we saw a sign that directed us to the cashier. We walked to the cashier and explained our situation and she called someone to assist us. The guy who came wasn’t the person I talked to on the phone. I explain our situation and informed he that we didn’t have a receipt but someone from customer service said we’d be fine with a credit card statement. He informed us that he’d have to make a call to see if that would be ok. When he came back he said that he needed to see the tree. I told him that we had taken the tree down and put it i our compost. I then showed him a picture of the tree when it was still up and our credit card statement but that wasn’t good enough. He told me that I’d have to come back home and bring him proof of our dead tree. I told him the only way he’s getting a look at our dead tree is from the picture attached to the one star Google review of Carpinito Brothers, and here we are.

This is a 1 only for the bulk compost and bark pickup customer service.. Here's what you need to know so you are treated better when you go. Drive through the area first, read the signs and decide what you want. Go inside the farm stand, wait for an open register and pay for it. You will get a receipt with the amount and type of product you are picking up. The cashier will write on the back of it with sharpie so it's obvious what you are getting. This needs to be handed to the loader driver. I did not know these basics. I do not want the cashier reprimanded for this. I did the first 2 things. I went back out to my husband and truck and we drove to the pile and waited. Nothing happened so I walked over to a man on the loading dock and asked what we should do. He said "Back up to the pile and the loader will be there." I asked "How will he know what I want?" He said "Back up to the pile and the loader will be there." This is the time of COVID, so I assumed that was enough or he didn't understand what I was asking through my mask. I also have gray hair, so people just assume I'm confused. We backed up to the pile of bark I paid for. The loader showed up. I held up the receipt with the details and amount written in black sharpie. It's the time of COVID, so I never assumed I was supposed to approach him. The loader driver threw up his hands, shook his head, glared, threw up his hands again, shoved open his window and yelled at me "Bring me the receipt". How, I wondered to myself, was I supposed to know that? He bellowed again. I handed the receipt to my husband and said, "Here, you give it to him. You're a man." Please follow the simple instructions above for pick up. Whatever the problems were, neither of the guys outside did anything for the customer service department at...

I had a worst experience October 1st 2021 visiting this market in Kent with my friend for get produce, where I got turned away by a female cashier and a male server in a very hateful manner! šŸ˜’šŸ˜³šŸ˜°

I did parked my van at the handicap section legally with my hanger on right after spine fusion surgery. When we walked in hanging on the shopping car the female cashier told me I can't going in there, I need to get out! I was surprised because I did visited the place many times before... I looked around if she really talking to me or what?! She was keep yelled at me and told another male server to send me and my friend out who was already inside the store shopping. We're both 65 + and both certified handicapped.

He was telling me very loud "you need to get out! Go around and come from different way!" I asked why??! What is the problem? He was keep telling me; because you need to leave, you can't come in here! I told, " I park in the handicap parking, I can't walk that long but I see no sign here is Exit or Exit Only. Can you show me any sign? Not even sign or any guides to show where is the Entry! "

the male guide was keep telling me I need to leave, get out!😰😰😰 I never got humiliated and treaited so badly in my life. I believe stores are for the shoppers, sales associates to welcome the public and invite them in. I got very upset then told I leave and I will not shop there and report this through Google so everybody can find about it. I made pictures...there are no exit sign there. Before we was able to enter from the front of the store in the middle. But I can't tolerate the rude hollering from disrespectful female cashier and server or who ever was...
