HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Really NO STARS! Let me start by stating that its disappointing to even have to write a bad review of anywhere you expect to have a good experience. Unfortunately for me I obtained the worse experience from this Mattress Firm store. The store is well maintained and clean but sadly to say the customer service didn’t match. I wish I had insisted in being helped by the other gentleman that was working that day because the people that were leaving seemed to have left happy and even recommended to be attended by him. Instead I was attended by Alex Lamourt, which is the store assistant manager. You would think that him being the assistant manager, he would have given excellent customer service and provided all the necessary knowledge and information in the entire process. Based on the needs and wants that I described, Alex only showed me 2 different mattress brands. I opted for the best one I thought. Once the financial aspect came, Alex neglected to offer or inform me of the financial options I had in order to make my purchase. I basically had to go by what he inputted with no option of turning back due to him processing and running my credit. I left the store feeling ripped off but bc it was far more important for me to have a mattress I needed, I decided to focus on the fact that I would be getting my mattress within 2 days. Guess what?! Two days came and my mattress doesn’t get delivered. The delivery personnel decided to make the delivery an entire hour before the actual scheduled time, which by the way they selected, to then say that they came and no one was home. I took off of work solely to be home for that delivery for them not to show up. One would say that it could’ve easily been rescheduled but in this case it is their neglect to have not brought my mattress at the time agreed and scheduled. I called to find out the reasons for them not delivering and they lied saying that they came to my door at the correct time when I know good and well that they didn't. I told them to bring the mattress at the time of my call and they said they couldn't until the truck came back into their warehouse to verify that they still had my mattress. Seriously?! As if I have the need to lie about not receiving a mattress. So, because they didn't want to rectify their very own mistake, I cancelled the order completely and demanded a FULL refund. I do not recommend this store nor will I ever. Especially to over pay for a refurbished mattress, yes, refurbished because that is something they do not tell you. And to Mr. Duwayne Jones, I would highly recommend you reconsidering your management team and if not then give them further training because its sad that you have someone like Alex representing your management in...
Read moreThey are really good with the sale. Follow-up not so much. My salesman worked really hard to get my business. The bed I wanted and NEEDED would have been $4,000. I couldn't afford that. I needed that bed because I have many health problems, from back issues, neuropathy in feet, legs, hands and arm also neck problems. I've been sleeping in a recliner for 10 years. However my salesman found me a wonderful deal on a clearance mattress, But It was a queen instead of full. My only issue with that was space. But that was still OK. He got me the last adjustable base in a brand they no longer carried, but he said it was a floor model. It was on clearance and hadn't sold because everyone had pretty much forgotten about it. -- The ending problem was, when the bed was delivered it was to talk. It is hard for me to get on and off of. Now the other issue is I am trying to find out how long my warranty is on the base and the remote. I called the salesman to see if it had the 10 year warranty the original one would have had and the salesman said I would have to call the phone number on the remote. Without the remote and base working this unit will not do me any good. This unit only cost me $2,000 half of the initial price of the one he was going to sale me. But it will not do me any good if I don't get the warranty matter straighten out about the base and remote. That still won't help the fact that it is to tall for me. Read moreChad was very helpful. We purchased a Beautyrest Black C-class medium queen mattress. Delivery was great and the warranty tag showed the manufacturing date as the previous week. The price was very good. Within the first week we noticed the beginnings of body impressions, which was a serious problem with our previous Saatva mattress that caused us to replace it with this Beautyrest. After the first month the "hard ridge in the middle" was beginning to be quite noticeable along with the valleys on each side- about an inch difference in height. (See photo) We've rotated the mattress a couple of times. We'll give it a couple of more weeks, but I'm afraid that we'll have to return it which will cost us a few hundred dollars under the terms of the 120 day not-free trial period. We bought our first Beautyrest about 40 years ago and it did quite well for about 20 years. I guess that the costs are way up and the quality or type of materials is way down. So we're back in the search for a comfortable mattress that won't sag over time. UPDATE: We returned the mattress after 60 days. Eddy was very helpful and the return was easy.
