Our party of 10 (that included two children) experienced the worst service we’ve ever experienced at The Olive Garden on Osceola Parkway (The Loop) on 1/27/2024. We were seated at our table for one hour before we got our entrees, and it wasn’t until 40 minutes into our dinner when we finally saw parties who got seated 20 minutes after us getting their entrees. At no point did the waitress or manager apologize when they realized that our order hadn’t been entered in the system due to a waiter/waitress shift change. They acted like they didn’t know what was going on, once we inquired, even though they knew exactly what went wrong. The general manager, another manager, and both waitresses were extremely condescending, and we were made to feel extremely embarrassed. What baffled us is that they were not transparent about their mistake until we finally asked what was going on. The first restaurant manager (young white male) to come to our table even sarcastically said, “well you have plenty of salad, soup, and breadsticks to keep you full,” when my husband let him know our party had not received our entrees. Once we got our entrees, my husband asked the regional manager (older, Hispanic male) what the reason was for the delay, and the regional manager blew him off saying he didn’t have time to talk to him because he had to make sure people were being served. Good thing the couple that was seated after us told the manager that what they did to us was wrong! Even other costumers noticed all that transpired! After that, the regional manager came back to the table and had no choice but to comp our bill. He only apologized to me and did not apologize to the rest of my party. This was so rude on so many levels. I will be calling corporate headquarters about how these managers...
Read moreHow to share a terrible experience. We went to eat at Olive Garden on Osceola parkway near Best Buy. This turned out to be an experience that will prevent us from returning. Our waiter seemed to be having some difficulties waiting on us. One of the many mistakes was the salad. Normally, Olive Garden has great salads. On this occasion the salad came out with lettuce, a few onions and a tomato. It did not contain any croutons and seemed to be very dry. I told the waiter and he went to get the croutons. When he returned, he asked if we would like more dressing. The fact is the salad contained no dressing whatsoever. He went to get the dressing and as he returned, they brought out our food. I complained and they said they would take it away and when we were ready, they would remake our dinner. So, we made through a terrible experience, paid our check and prepared to leave. My son and I went to the Man’s room while my wife waited outside. When we finished our business and went to the sink to wash our hands, one of the stall doors burst open and out came this tall, very thin, Black individual, obviously an Olive Garden employee, wearing a whitish glove on his left hand, stormed passes my son and I and headed directly to the kitchen. That’s right, after taking a giant dump he never washed his hands. When I think about it, he opened the door with the glove on so he probably kept it on during the entire event. I thought I was going to vomit as I complained to the manager. The manager asked where we sat and said she would comp the entire meal. The problem is we already paid. Today, the day after the incident, we all have had bad diarrhea. We are done with that place and now I am looking to contact the District Manger to share the story. This action is COMPLETELY...
Read moreI normally don't post reviews but because I've tried giving this OG in Kissimmee near the best buy a chance several times, and they haven't gotten it right, I'm now giving it a one star. I went in with a party of 5 for my sons graduation lunch with family. Every single plate that was ordered was horrible besides 1, which was just simply pasta and Alfred sauce. My mother ordered the stuffed chicken Marsala. She had to peel off the outside of the chicken which was like a hard crust because it was pretty tough to eat almost burnt. My husband ordered a plate with steak in it. He ordered it med, it came well done and tough to chew. My 6 y/o had the chicken tenders. He couldn't eat his food because the breading was so soggy it fell off. He didn't touch his food. I ordered the chicken and shrimp Carbonara, no Spaghetti. I ordered it with angel hair instead and asked the shrimp to be cooked. They said ok. If they couldn't do it then they should have said something and I would have ordered something different, but they didn't. I sent my plate back twice. The first time the plate came with Spaghetti (I would have kept it, fine, no big deal) but I sent it back because the shrimp wasn't cooked. The second time I sent it back because the shrimp was, again, uncooked and almost see through. I could see black tiny spots in it. Which mean it wasn't deveined or it still had poop in it or both. 2 in our party ordered the zuppa toscana, the potatoes in the soup weren't cooked either. We showed all of this to the manager. This wasn't a cheap outing with the family. It's unfortunate that it wasn't a pleasant experience since we stepped out for my son's...
