First time here. We were seated and we were met by our waiter. Our drinks came out quickly and the food order went smoothly. The chef came out soon after ordering. While the cooking had started my drink was empty. The waiter I noticed had our table and the one next to us, not to terribly busy. Our meal was completed and still no drink refill. Not sure if he was new or if there was a possible language barrier. The food was cooked to perfection, but we were disappointed in our waiter. I would still recommend Mizu

09/27/2020 **WARNING ⚠️ My family and I have been here about 6 times since January of this year. Of about those visit I would encourage all those dining here to check your bill before PAYING. The servers will primary tac on an 18% gratis to your bill. Upon printing it and presenting it to you the bill will reflect the meal cost, the drinks, taxes, and the 18% gratis, followed by your total. JUST BELOW your total your bill will show TIP SUGGESTIONS as a % in addition to your total. Any regular customer not paying attention and having a good time will for sure over look this DOUBLE TIP ATTEMPT. So in the end you will have paid your meal, your drinks, your taxes, the 18% gratis, AND ADDITION to an total amount you will unintentionally pay a 2nd gratis. I've fallen victim to this at least 3x's. Not sure if this is even legal to do, but at no time did the server or Mizu representative advise of the tip already added to your bill. SO, read your bill carefully, DO NOT DOUBLE TIP. THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE...

This is our second time at this restaurant. Plain and simple, AMAZING!

The miso soup is probably the best soup I've ever had at any hibachi restaurant.

Both times we have eaten here for a late lunch. The portions are good, the food is very fresh, cooked to perfection.

I had the steak and shrimp hibachi plate. Steak was perfectly cooked (medium), shrimp was fantastic, the rice and veggies are amazing and the veggies are super fresh.

My wife had the 3 roll maki lunch special, she chose shrimp tempura, chicken tempura and a California roll. Once again, everything was incredibly fresh.

My oldest had the hibachi chicken with no veggies and extra rice. He can't eat or smell onions, and our server mentioned there was onion in the rice, so she ordered him rice with no onions. That was amazing on her part!

My youngest ordered steak and chicken hibachi, once again, steak was perfection (med rare).

The price is fair, the quality of food is EXCELLENT!!! portions are generous. The restaurant is very clean and cozy. Staff is very friendly.

They do have regular tables and hibachi seating. Unfortunately my family has been in a hurry to eat both times we have eaten here, so we haven't been able to enjoy where they cook in front of us. Hopefully next time we come I can enjoy hibachi!

Trust me, EAT here! It's absolutely fantastic! Definitely my favorite hibachi restaurant, too bad I live 8...

So, judging by the many times I've visited this restaurant. It seems like a roll of the dice for the type of experience you'll get in reference to the hibachi dinner option. Sometimes you can get a cook who will put on a show like they enjoy their job. They interact with the customers in a positive way and it can be a lot of fun. For any age group. On the other hand, my last few visits have been mediocre to awful. In some cases the cook seems too focused on finishing the job getting out of there. So he doesn't present the same quality of entertainment as other cooks. It's disappointing when I payed $96 for 3 people to half enjoy my visit. There's a part of the show where they try to throw food into your mouth by slide of spatula. Some occasions depending on the cook they get it spot on and we're able to catch it and it's great fun. However this last visit it felt as if the cook was in a bad mood and just threw the food at us seemingly not trying to aim for our mouths at all. Like mocking his customers. Overall my rating is based on the declining quality aspect of this establishment. I used to have a good time and enjoy the company of other diners, as well as the cook. The first few visits were great and now I don't feel the same. I just miss the times back when customers were appreciated. Not robbed. It'll be long while until the next time plan to visit again. Such a...

7/30/24: Highlights: 1. Spacious and clean 2. Eel Roll without the cucumber for the little man and he approved 3. Filet Mignon & Scallop Hibachi Combination with fried rice and noodle, miso soup, and salad: The chef did a wonderful job cooking the filet mignon to medium rare as requested - both the kids enjoyed the steak hibachi. Neutral: 1. Little man's complaint, "I don't like how they make the noodle so saucy". It's really saucy. I personally don't like how the fried rice soaked up a lot of the hibachi sauce. 2. Naruto Roll here is only $14, a cheaper version of what I am used to eating which normally has salmon, yellowtail, and tuna with avocado wrapped with thin layers of cucumber. Here they have tuna, imitation crab, shrimp, and avocado as the filler. Overall, I don't mind coming back for the medium rare filet mignon hibachi that both my kids enjoy. Not all hibachi restaurants offer filet mignon or able to cook to medium rare as requested. This place aced it for my picky foodies.

We visited Mizu Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi for a late lunch. Don’t let the spartan surroundings or strip mall location deter you in dining here. We were wonderfully greeted and seated by the owner. Our server was attentive and friendly. Their large menus can be intimidating but take your time and you’ll discover something for everyone in your group. We started with the House Salad with ginger dressing and then the Sweet Potato Roll with a Philadelphia Roll. The rolls were fresh and great tasting and the Sweet Potato Roll was the best! Our entrees were the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Seafood Fried Rice with scallops, shrimp and krab (yes fake crab). I can guarantee you will not leave hungry due to the amount of fried rice and large servings. If you want selection, service, quality food and a great food experience, Mizu Japanese Steakhouse is your place to dine!

prices for fair, service was adequate & I was very excited since tamago, or beef negimaki in a very long time since it was lunch there was a two roll special, so I decided to try the sweet potato as well. I want to start by saying that was the best tamago I think I've ever had, , sad to say that was the only thing I enjoyed. the tuna for the tuna roll was chopped or minced which made it mushy tasting, the sweet potato tempura roll wasn't the light batter that I expected from Japanese but more that hard crispy that you get in Chinese or Vietnamese, I'm finally I'm sad to say the beef negimaki was nothing like I remembered the meat, the scallions were not crisp and crunchy and the sauce was way too sweet. but I have to say the tamago was so awesome that I will return tamago, ebbi a bowl of rice.
