Brentwood Inn and Suites — Hotel in Lakeside

Made reservations for a king size suite with hot tub in the room. When I got to the front window because the doors was locked by the time we arrived. The guy that came to the window was RUDE RUDE RUDE. He proceeded to tell me all the information he needed but before I could give him the information he was slamming the key card in a drop box. Telling where the room was. Went to the room he gave us keys for and it was all wrong 2 beds & no HOT TUB (When I made the reservation I ask for that) I go back to the front window rung the door bell waited When he returned he yelled WHAT NOW i proceeded to tell him that the room wasn’t what we had made the reservation for HE STARTS TO YELL THAT WHAT YOU GET FOR BOOKING WITH A SITE YOU CAN CANCEL WITH THEM AND PAY ME $140. Now I had been nice until he said that I told him I was going to cancel anything because I drove a ways to get there but I will pay you the difference in cash. That was ok with him he started yelling his rules he’s the owner this and that. I told him I’ll pay the difference and that’s that. Finally he said ok gave me what I paid for. THE ROOM!!!! It had a hot tub in the middle of the floor, the front door didn’t had the strip at the bottom so we could see completely outside, then we sprayed the cleaner we brought for hot tub and out pops some roaches we’re beyond mad now to the king size bed 😂😂 it had a damn brown curtain as a bed spread. We settled for the room because we couldn’t get the money back...

I had an excellent experience at Brentwood Inn and Suites in Glen Allen, Virginia during my two-week stay in May 2025. The room was incredibly clean, quiet, and comfortable—perfect for an extended visit. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an upgraded room, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The customer service was outstanding; the staff was friendly, professional, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. They were also very accommodating with my request to extend the stay and offered a very reasonable rate. The location is ideal—close to great restaurants, shopping, and with easy access to the highway. This hotel offers outstanding value, excellent service, and a truly welcoming environment. We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, and had soap and towels. The fridge is a great size and the appliances all worked. It is in a calm, quiet area. The furniture is a bit old but the sheets and towels were clean. Not a fancy 5 star hotel but you get what you pay for. Would come back if we were looking for a...
