Just last month I discovered the coffee menu at WaWa, and I am impressed! WaWa offers such an easy ordering screen, allowing you to customize your choice of milk, or the addition of whipped cream or an additional espresso shot. Better yet, the nutrition information with the number of calories per drink is available for you right on the screen during ordering.
I started my coffee adventure with a classic Pumpkin Spice Latte, Fall’s favorite beverage. I decided to go with 2% milk and to forego the whipped cream, which meant that my 12 oz PSL was only 160 calories! This latte knocked my socks off! It was prepared with care, the creamy froth blended with the espresso and sweet cinnamon and nutmeg so well. This was no vending machine coffee, I was able to enjoy the piercing sounds of the espresso machine while I waited for my latte.
Of course I had to go back and try the Pumpkin Spice Mocha Latte - I couldn’t miss out on it! This latte teamed up rich chocolate, warm nutmeg, and sweet cinnamon with luxurious foamed milk. I suddenly felt like it was time to go set up a bonfire and grab a fleece blanket so I could properly enjoy this concoction. Unfortunately, I had to get back to work instead, but that didn’t stop me from adding some very appropriate mini marshmallows to speak for that fireside vibe I was feeling. Was it a little sweet? Yes! But that’s what Fall treats are for, indulging.
As for my overall experience with this WaWa location, I’ve been a loyal customer for almost a decade. The employees at this WaWa have always been friendly and pleasant, and I’ve enjoyed all of them. I have ordered and enjoyed a good bit of food from them over the years, including lots of turkey and cheese subs, a chicken parmigiana sandwich, WaWa bakery donuts, brewed coffees, and other assorted soft drinks and snacks. My least favorite snack was the WaWa bakery chocolate cookie, though, mostly because it was a soft-baked cookie and I prefer a crispier one. Pumping gas has always been fast and easy, even though I’ve had to run in to pay before because the pump wasn’t reading my card properly. There’s a setup to pump air into your tires, which I believe costs fifty cents or perhaps a dollar now, but it’s fast and efficient. The lighting in the entire parking lot has always been reliable and sufficient, and the bathrooms have been well kept. This WaWa is my preference over the other convenience stores/gas stations along this area...

Read moreI’m very grateful to Joseph, who works at store #667 for coming to my rescue early this morning. It was dark, it was so cold, and there was a thick blanket of snow and ice. Only one other car in the lot. It looked like my car was going to be stuck, I was scared, and then I saw Joseph coming out to help me, to push my car if needed. I’m a senior citizen, and this young man has my sincere gratitude and respect. I was so nervous, that when I finally was able to drive away, I realized I had forgotten to thank him. Please do that for me.
You have excellent training, I’m in your store at least once a day, and your entire staff could not be more gracious and helpful to me. Liam, Cordell, Nina, Judy, Hannah, Candy, Chasey (so?), Buddy, and all. Ask Kevin, this isn’t the first time your employees have come to my rescue. Thank you.
