We were not too excited to have to buy a new bed because so many to choose from we have had a lot of bad experiences buying beds so to say the least I was Leary about shopping for a new bed so I decided to call Mattress Firm in Largo talked with a gentleman name Tom assured me and explain to me they have what I need and at the right price and that I would be happy so my wife and I went up the next day and Tom was off so we met the gentleman named Robert who spent time with us listening to our needs and took the time to explain to us the difference between all of the bed so as he'd help other customers my wife and I we're trying out the beds and we found the one we believe would work for us we told Robert we like this one he threw out an amazing price but I was shocked at but we still wanted to think about it what I liked about Robert he said I want you to think about it because I want you to be happy be with your purchase you don't find that anymore and these days with sells men's sells manager they want to make a sell and they want to make it right then and you feel pushed well it's the opposite at this store we came back the next day to get our king size bed got the pillows the mattress protector the best frame the sheets we're excited at this point however it was Robert's day off and there was a mistake made so I was upset about the mistake thinking hell here we go again I'm going to get taken but that's not the case not this store I called and I talked to Robert the next day explain to him what was going on and my experience settled it right over the phone and made me very happy I told me to come in and we'll take care of this and boy he sure took care of us Robert is truly an outstanding manager he truly goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy and satisfied if he really does care that you leave with what you want and he cares about the experience you have I was really shocked by this and impressed this is why the detailed review so if you're in the market for a new bed this is definitely the place to go for outstanding service an extreme knowledge Robert and his team did an outstanding job for my wife and I I would definitely recommend this store and I can assure you that I will do business at this store only and I will refer others also so again Robert and Tom thank you for all your help and all that you did because of your outstanding service my wife and I will be sleeping great on our new king size bed that we purchased at your store..Thanks !!...

I’m giving a 3 star rating for a couple of reasons. This has no bearing on Crystal who sold me my mattress. She was professional and knowledgeable about the mattresses. The issue I have is with delivery. When you are given a window for delivery I expect delivery to happen within that window. I understand a couple of minutes off but when you find that the delivery drivers are going to be 25 minutes late and you have a prior engagement that is an issue. I called the store to discuss this being and issue and Bryce who clearly has no consideration for a customers time says they are only a little outside of their time frame. Well that 25 minutes would then make me late to my appointment and I don’t arrive late to appointments because I am respectful of others time. To make matters worse the delivery driver decides to sit in his truck on a phone call while I’m waiting with the door open. I called out to them to tell them I have an appointment and they take 5 more minutes to come back inside. Then they say because it is sprinkling the mattress might get damaged so they aren’t sure if they should bring it in. I said it’s SPRINKLING isn’t it wrapped in plastic??? More delays while they decide if they should bring it in. Meanwhile time is ticking. I didn’t have the opportunity to fully check out the mattress to make sure it was okay. They had it standing up and it appeared that the inners were bunching at the bottom. I expressed my concern but both drivers barely spoke English. Over all not a good experience and I will not purchase from mattresses firm...

Genuinely surprised to see all the positive reviews. We popped in because labor day typically has sales and I love a good deal. I came in and was greeted. I know the guy who directly followed us around the store was Kevin but I dont really recall the other guys name. Eric did seem right after looking at the other reviews. I tried expressing what I was specifically interested in and how I've purchased everything from high end (7k+) to $25 second hand and know exactly what I like. I was told that the ball park of what I like is antiquated (brought to me in layman's terms) and that kevin would only allow a dog or child to sleep on an older spring mattress. I explained that I dont like the synthetic foam/gel beds and was told in a very condescending way everything is synthetic. Obviously, no duh- but you'd know what I meant. I meant the mainstream beds that are being pushed at us. I wasnt being heard for what I like, I was only being talked down to and pushed more expensive beds toward the front displays. Regardless, I left because I would rather someone listen to me than just go "clearly you dont know what you want" over and over again like I'm 2. Sure, my face is young but that really doesn't warrant that kind of behavior. Felt more like a car dealership than somewhere you'd buy something to lay your head on at night. I digress. Scaffolding a person in another direction would be better than just throwing away any idea they have for an investment they'd have to sleep on for the next...
