Five Guys can be good, but NOT this location. The staff is awful and disrespectful. We've been eating here for years, but never again after the way I was just treated. I'm guessing the staff was all high since it was 4/20 and they made a comment about it to me right as I walked in. They messed up my order, and instead of fixing it, knowingly let me leave with half of it. I've never once before this been asked if I wanted my receipt or not. In fact, it says right on it not to throw away the receipt... but this day they asked if I wanted it or not, clearly wanting to throw it out. Then they proceeded to give me half my order and let me drive all the way home. When my husband called about it, they said they were sorry they forgot it, and I could come back for it. I did, and when I got there I asked to see a manager. The 4/20 girl at the front quickly told me the manager already refunded my full meal, so not to worry. I asked how she could do that without my credit card and she said again, "it was refunded, we don't need your card". I thought that was weird and asked for a copy of the refund receipt. She gave me MY ORIGINAL RECEIPT and looked around like she was nervous... I had no idea she faked that until I was back in the car again. And of course I never got the refund she said would show up "in 2 to 3 days". What an awful lot of liars. No other person was in the restaurant at the time, just a bunch of workers standing around making jokes about the situation amongst themselves. Horrible disrespectful place. Never...
Read moreWent there last night, 9-22-20, and they have been open about 3 weeks...I was pleasantly surprised by the whole visit. Just in case you're not familiar with them, you park and walk in (or maybe still curbside,) but no drive-thru. It wouldn't work good anyway, because everything is made to order. This location DOES have milkshakes, although it's not currently on their online menu to pre-order or have delivered. Everyone was wearing masks, and they have temporarily eliminated the condiments area and peanut bins for community scooping, but they are happy to give you pre-packed bags of peanuts (and condiments) for more sanitary individual consumption. I agree with the previous reviewer that their buns and fries DO tend to get a bit soggy/limp. [My own fix for that is to resist the urge to add excessive numbers of their 17 free toppings, and stick to my favorite 5 or 6 (or 7....) and this being a common problem for me, since I take food home and eat it hours later.] As far as the fries, they are really good, with Cajun spice for no extra charge, and they are ridiculously large, 2 mediums will feed 4 adults with leftovers. See picture, that is what's left with 2 servings ALREADY removed. The employees were really nice, patient when I needed to add an order of milkshakes, mixed them up quick so I could get going, offered me a drink holder, and put everything else in a bag with handles for easier carrying. Well, these might sound like little things, but really, these days, little things can make a...
Read moreI was at this Five Guys location on Ulmerton Rd and all I can say is how disappointed. First didn't even get greeted just stared at until some lady in the black shirt walked up and again just stared at me so I just told her what I wanted. Then she asks do i want something to drink which i already ordered I'll give her the benefit of it but maybe she didn't hear that part the first time. I also asked for my frenchfries to be well done so they are crispy but NO i did not receive them that way quite soggy. The workers never came from around the counter to sweep empty the trash which was full the place wasn't busy at all. Not one customer I saw after me got greeted or told have a goodnight etc. It's not that difficult. I will not be going back to this location. Maybe somebody from the higher authority might take a look at this place like undercover boss because we all know when higher ups show up to the company you work at everyone is on there top game. Most likely there won't be a response from anyone but maybe you read the reviews that this location gets and go from there or just watch the cameras from time to time and see what...
