Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Florida

Well I've had two different experiences here. So I'm torn about this last experience, must have been a big change in staff. The first experience we had was during the lunch rush. We had two separate orders and when we got to the window to pay they were on the house which startled us but who would say no to free food?

The last experience was what upset me, my mother is hard of seeing so she needs to see the lit up board to order, but the drive thru order boxes are off till 8 pm... It's dark before 6 during this time of the year. The lady was outside and told us that we would have to order here with her since no one would be able to service us. Mind you my mother doesn't know what to get and can't read their little lamented card menu. The print isn't kind on the hard of sight.

So we tell her we'll order after we see the big menu and she just stays back. You'd think she'd go up to the lit area instead of the darkened corner where we clearly didn't see her till she yelled for us to stop to get our attention first. Anyways we look at the menu since I knew what I wanted to eat before we even got there, it's the only meal I ever get anyways lol. So she picks a few things and we get to the window and the lady tries to give us someone else's order at first.

Like didn't ask if it was our order so the lady didn't warn them that we were there... So we tell them we hadn't placed an order yet due to not being able to see the menu easily. You could tell the lady at the window was annoyed, but took our order. When they have us our drinks they forgot to put I've in my mother's drink and thought they have me the wrong drink. Oh boy, then they give us the food and asked for the bagback thinking they forgot something or added something not on our order. Oh boy, the bagger clearly had shirt term memory or has had a very long shift either way we felt compelled to check our food after that. I've asked for chicken sandwiches with no pickle before and gotten pickle on the darn thing everytime. I can't stomach pickles much and I do know they use pickles to bread the chicken and that's fine it's mostly fried out. ;-;

There was freaking pickles... But all of our order was there so not much setting there besides the pickles lol. However their attitude of being inconvenienced was what got me there. It's dark and my mother is far sighted she can't read your menu in the dark unless there is a light. You'd think they'd switch to taking orders at the lit sign when the sun goes down not just at 8 pm since that's summer sundown time.

Chick-fil-a... Explain to me why D: I felt so unliked for wanting a darn number 1 no pickle only to keep getting the damn pickle! 1 out of 20 visits I get no pickle lol something is wrong with your staff's selective hearing these days.

Either way I still love your over priced chicken sandwich and will still be coming back for more! It's just...

I’ve read the reviews and I’m not surprised to see that there is definitely a rude manager working this location. I came at night to enjoy dining in with my family. I realized I didn’t get the sauce we asked for, no big deal I go up to the counter to ask for some packets. I go to sit back down and realize there’s a fry missing for one of the meals. I purchased 3 meals. So, I go back up to the counter again to ask for my fry and brought my receipt. The manager mind you…just gave me the sauce packets, which she seemed critical looking up the name of the order to see if it was put in correctly rather than let me tell her what I needed, which was directly behind her. So regarding the missing fry, She responded with “when, from a while ago”? I said “no, we’re dining in so just now”. She takes my receipt and disappears behind the wall for a minute, and I was given my fry by another girl. Both times with the sauce and fry the manager was snooty and seemed agitated. I’m at the point of agitation for the attitude I got both times. I’m back at the table with my family. She walks by to deliver a tray to another table, and on her way back, gives me a steady side eye glare staring at our table. To me, it felt like she was was staring with distrust. Like girl...nobody’s trying to get a freebie here. Smh, It’s the holidays, Chick-fil-A’s standard of customer care should be a lot better than this since they claim that as their culture. I didn’t want to stay to finish eating after that so I cleaned up our table to leave, but made sure to leave our 3 empty fry containers and my receipts on the table. I have been to Chick-Fil-A for lunch, snacks, and dinner but not for breakfast. I was planning on grilled chicken nuggets but they are not on breakfast menu. So I opted for a cute egg white square with grilled chicken and no cheese on an English muffin. So Delicious dipped in Chick-Fil-a sauce and the great bar b que sauce, 2 of the 8 possible options They offer half lemonade half sweet tea called the Sunjoy®. I make my own version with unsweet tea and diet lemonade, passing on Coca Cola ® fountain drinks. Quick efficient and patient service today by TAYLEE with her great smile. Hand sanitizer dispensers at each entry really work! The main entry and exit doors are accessible and have push-in heavy door. The scccesibke Venue offers room to move around indoor booth and table seating and outdoor table seating at tables. All outdoor seating accessible but with no overhead cover and it sits in busy Ulmerton Road. Most indoor seating is accessible with some high top tables. Accessible Mens and women's restrooms have 2 grab bars, automatic flush and hand wash, 5ftx 5 ft spaces and offer a diaper changer Many kids high chairs available indoors and outdoors This venue offers an indoor kids playground with an immobile car to drive after climbing up a flight The drive thru is always busy and this morning us no exception No background music this morning Menus posted are white background and red and black letters, some glare, fairly readable.
