Let me start off by saying if you have children!!! WATCH YOUR KIDS!! We have reason to believe an employee or employees at the budget put a venomous baby scorpion in my son's room while they were in our unit fixing their shower since the first day, we moved in. During our first week My child was stung all over his body multiple times at 6:00 am while we all slept my baby was being stung " could have died in his sleep!!" My son's throat closed on him he couldn't breathe he was paralyzed all over, his hand still has numbness where he was stung three times, he shakes uncontrollably, his fingers twitch out of control. management left us to deal with the problem over the weekend, with a loose venomous scorpion in our unit. We got no rest until WE found it, hiding under their dresser 24 hours later. Nobody was sleeping until it was found.||Management at the budget suites on Rancho is horrible!! Marco is two faced, pretending to care about the situation as my minor son drove off in the back of an ambulance!! believe me it's an act! He offered us one day off our rent in exchange for us to sign an apology letter from corporate, regarding what happened to my son. Darrell is the only cool person working there who I believe is a good person and only tried to help my family, sucks he works with such horrible souls. Marco advised me to deal with the pest myself and pay out of my pocket for the expense to exterminate their property, then Marco told me it will cost them $150 for the exterminator to come, and the free day was $40 worth. So, my son's life to them is worth $190!!! We paid a hell of a lot more than that to stay there for 3 weeks in a 2 bedroom! Then Marco was in my unit every day after my son could have lost his life!!! kissing ass trying to be nosey in our lives, they had exterminators and maintenance in my unit twice a day for my entire 3 week stay!! We got no rest, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! NIGHTMARE!!!! We believe this is their tactic to drive you nuts, so you have no choice but to leave. They offer no Refund, their website is outdated I wouldn't go off what they have to offer based on what is written on their website, seems more of a scam after actually staying there.||then after they sent the last exterminator to our unit, like previously before we never got a 24-hour notice just knocks on the door when it's convenient for them. The last exterminator got defensive when I asked to see a work order. She didn't have one like suspected, then she, ran to notify the office, told them we were being abusive towards her!? All I said to her was I wasn't happy with management and how they handled the situation and them dumbing down the situation and putting the blame on us! Also, I needed to see a work order! Then management put a note in our door at 3 am. Stating that we cannot re-rent from them due to abusive language. after speaking with the front office Darrell was confused why we were being treated this way. We were unsure also; we did nothing wrong. Management here is in the wrong!! Marco then started showing his true colors stating he didn't have to have a reason even though they marked a reason on their slip. it's all games and lies with these people here. they legit don't care to make your family homeless. they thrive off that because they're the bullies and from the comments I've read on this place we aren't their...
Read moreBudget Suites is a weekly apartment rental. It is legally a motel, but you are renting a small apartment with appliances and utilities (including cable) included in the rent. Wi-Fi is available for $7.50/week and is high speed, works for streaming Netflix or whatever you want to watch. You can also pay monthly if desired. Weekly rates start at $209 and will run you around $260 after taxes and fees. The "nicer" rooms start at $229 plus taxes and fees. You can choose an apartment with a flat screen TV rather than an old box style one for $9 more per week, and $4 extra per week if you want a microwave (all rooms have stove/oven/full size fridge). The rooms/apartments are fully furnished, except for bedding and toiletries.
This is a huge property, they have 2 swimming pools with hot tubs. They have covered parking (sun shades over parking spots), waterfalls near the pools, nice green grass, and pets are acceptable (for an additional fee). My experience was walking into an apartment that was already ice cold (they leave the air conditioning on between tenants, thumbs up!), very clean, relatively quiet, and all I had to do was go across the street to Walmart to buy sheets/pillows/blankets, toilet paper/paper towels and shampoo/soap/etc, and I felt at home. There are some "thug" looking people on the property, mainly in the late evening hours, but I've never been harassed, they seem to keep to themselves. After all, they can't discriminate, and the way a person conducts themselves once moved in compared to when they are speaking to management to rent an apartment can be like two completely different people. They do have 24 hour security patrol, so anyone regardless of their background should feel relatively safe living here. The last thing I have to add is that this property is much nicer and feels much safer than the Boulder Highway options, although who your next door neighbor is can make your experience wonderful or terrible, and that goes for anywhere. For me, I give them a 9/10 and would recommend them. The office staff is also very friendly to deal with - "AG" and...
Read moreThey took a month to fix the TV in my unit. They got bent out of shape when I called to have it fixed, the fourth time. I called once a week for four weeks in a row.
One morning a strange man came to my door and pounded on it profusely. When I answered the door, the man was looking for someone else and was acting violent, threatening me and refused to leave.
One of the Courtesy Patrol Officers was across the parking lot, watching this all happen. He eventually intervened and ordered the man to leave.
When I tried to inform the Courtesy Patrol Officer of what happened, he shouted at me to "Get the F--- back in your unit!"
I then complained to his manager, which did no good at all. It seems they run that with the mentality that they already have my money and can replace me with someone else.
I lived there for 2-3 months. I never had any cockroaches or bugs of any sort in my unit. Saw some outside though. The oven didn't work and they never had a microwave available for my unit.
In the end, they pulled some low down shenanigans. A week after I complained to the manager, I go to pay my weekly rent the night before it was due. They handed me my mail and started to run my payment. I just happen to open my mail at the counter while waiting for them to run my card.
The letter was from them, demanding I move out within 7 days. The letter was stuck in my mailbox at the front desk a week prior. The same day I complained. So, now I had til the next morning to move out.
The refundable deposit was never refunded, not even a letter with an excuse. They simply do what they want with no oversight. If you want to be treated like dirt, sworn at, dismissed and abruptly told to leave, this is the place to go.
I've stayed at plenty of weekly rentals over the decades, all over the country for years at a time. I've never been mistreated at any of them, until this place.
The employees that work here simply act as if they hate their customers/residents. I'd wave, nod or say hi and would...
