I stayed here 3 nights as part of a wedding. After some searching I ended up booking directly through the hotel. Located next to the JW Marriott resort, it is just outside of the Summerlin district, about 16 miles from the airport. The Uber/Lyft from the airport was priced in the $45-61 range at noontime. | |I had a rough trip out, including a luggage issue, so when they allowed me to check in early I was very grateful. The room was spacious and adequately maintained. The bed is comfy enough - I give it a 4 out of 5. The AC cranks. The tub looked nearly antique. The hotel was built in 1999 but my guess was that it was older than that. The staff is friendly. My Only “complaint” is that the outlet situation is inadequate, particularly if you want to charge the phone by the bed. The lamp jack and the jack on the clock didn't work well. ||There's a mini fridge and safe in the room but no coffee machine. The Java Coffee shop is to the right of the front doors next to the casino, looking from the inside, and the coffee is excellent. The corner bagel shop serves coffee that is acceptable. It isn't bad, but it's not the same stuff as the Java coffee shop which closes before 3pm. At the corner bagel place the choices are coffee or no coffee. No cappuccinos or Americanos. I ate at Dupars and everything was prepared perfectly with the exception of the coffee which appears to be the same stuff as the corner bagel shop. By all means, eat at Dupars, but get your coffee at Java Vegas first if you can. | |My TV remote stopped working. Since I wanted to get a drink anyway and I didn't want to wait a long time for another remote, I took it down to the front desk hoping they could give me another one right away. They don't have anything there. Someone did come to my room immediately with another one. The issue turned out to be user error, though. The Ice bucket was blocking the signal, smh, so make sure you check for that first if there's a problem. ||The pool is a relaxing escape. It is accessed from the 2nd floor and you'll need your key to get in. The bar opens in the afternoon and the bartender there is an absolute doll. Tip her well! The curtained privacy beds can be rented but they are free with certain levels of food and beverage purchase. There's also a giant chess set. The pool is NOT heated, but the sun is so hot that the cold water was a needed cool down. ||Located on several acres, any other businesses are probably close to a mile walk. On-site they have several restaurants, a movie theater, and bowling. Overall, the place is nicely maintained and a good value. It doesn't have the hustle and bustle of the strip, which I found to be a nice break. It bears repeating that the staff is lovely. They have been selected for their amiable attitudes and trained very well. That is no small thing and I am very appreciative of the wonderful treatment I received. The staff is what makes me want to stay here again. ||Don't forget to tip...

Wow ! A friend of mine that works here told me I could take my change here to cash it in for free. I had already told myself that I would tip the cage out 5% because I was saving money from the regular 11% the machines charge to change it over. When we arrived the cage ladies had NO ONE in line and made a BIG fuss over the amount of change I had. Saying they only take "small amounts" ... Well my small amount is different than yours so give me a dollar amount. They ended up spending about 5 minutes of their time painstakingly pouring it into an automatic machine and I would like to add that there were THREE of them standing around and the entire time they were helping us only ONE more person walked up to the window! The ladies were so rude and nasty to us!! Snarling their noses like crazy people and giving us nasty looks and slamming stuff around! They are in CUSTOMER SERVICE! I work for tips and I would NEVER treat a customer like this ! A five minute job they were getting paid to do PLUS A TIP upset then so badly they had to act like fools ! Even the hubs who never says a word bad about ANYONE was astonished and insisted I wrote a review! He even said that he has never seen anyone act so unprofessional in his life doing a job they are getting paid to do ! In the end I only have them about 2.5% tip and they didn't deserve that ! But as the lady was taking the tip she covers the money with her hand and says to me "next time small amounts". Again WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF SMALL!!?? Give me a dollar amount!! The attitude and rudeness of the ladies were absolutely shocking!! If I were in management I would be hiring an entirely new cage crew. This is UNACCEPTABLE! Adults throwing tantrums...

5/15/2024 We visited here today. I noticed the interior has been rearranged which was very nice. Good air quality. Lots new slot machines. Restaurants were closed in the morning except for the cafe and the donut/deli. Inetrior of restaurants looked great. Kelli the attendant at the hotel registration was excellent, very outgoing, cheerful, positive, energetic. She makes you feel welcomed. It's not often you encounter an outgoing friendly service agent. It eas a very good experience over all. Ample free parking with handicap parking and access. We will definitely return. August 2025 This is an update from our previous visit. Wow the remodel interior is fantastic. It looks upscale, modern, trendy, bright, spacious. The sports bar is huge with large tv screens and comfortable seating. Air quality is great. The bingo room is large, bright and inviting. Restaurants have been remodeled as well. There is still a little more remodeling to be done but it doesn't deter from the fun. It seems the slots are looser. Restrooms are updated, neat and clean. --‐-------------------------- Lots of parking. Neat clean. Large selections of slot machines. Buffet serves variety of international faire. Friendly & efficient servers. Clean restrooms. Air quality is good.

I had the pleasure of working with Noe during a recent stay, and I can’t say enough about their kindness, professionalism, and follow-through. From the very beginning, Noe went out of their way to make sure our experience was smooth and stress-free. They not only helped us navigate the hotel’s policies with care and understanding but also took the extra step to connect us with the right team for future solutions. Noe was responsive, empathetic, and truly customer-focused—the kind of hospitality that makes you feel valued and welcomed. If every hotel had a Noe at the front desk, travel would be effortless. Thank you again, Noe, for making our stay such a positive one. My room view of the golf course ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ View of the mountains in the background, a quiet floor. I only wish they had room service available through the week and being able to connect my hdmi to the tv for work meetings EVERYTHING ELSE 10/10 stars movie theater just down stairs , bowling alley , restaurants ahhh I can’t wait to visit again and see my new friend Noe !! - Thank u from my company for accommodating our 10 rooms over the past 2 months

Dang.... Another Boyd property here in Sin City. I grew up just a couple miles north of the Suncoast so I have a fondness for the West side! Check in was a breeze. The rooms are a basic Holiday Inn or Best Western style set-up minus a coffee pot or microwave. Seems to be the new Vegas norm. We saw a movie here. Really REALLY like the lazy boy seats. Definitely 2 thumbs up with a double snap!! Getting a drink from the cocktail waitresses was much easier than other locations. The gambling floor was well laid out and has plenty of machines and a few actual table games.. The best part of our experience was the hotel staff.. Everyone encountered was beyond helpful and friendly. (SUPER RARE) The food options are eclectic but they have a full selection of chow. Parking is free, all the elevators worked!!! (I know right?) Yet one was held together with 100mph tape.. The heated pool ?? Was a tad of the, I have shrinkage temperature... We normally stay @Sams Town. I'm leaning towards the SunCoast for our new Vegas debauchery getaway. Plotted. Scouts Out.
