On the evening of June 6, 2024, I distinctly recollect the eager anticipation surrounding my dinner reservation at The Cheesecake Factory situated in Boca Park and Rampart, accompanied by a friend. The prospect of this reservation was particularly exciting due to its convenient proximity to One Queens Ridge Tower, the Sun Coast Casino, and Tivoli Village, which I call home. Little did we anticipate the unexpected turn of events that awaited us.
Upon our arrival, we were met with an underwhelming reception from the hosts and a female supervisor. Despite our confirmed 6:15 pm reservation, we were informed upon arrival that our reservation had been inexplicably canceled without prior notification. Following a brief wait, we were eventually seated by a bi-racial female host on the north side of the restaurant, with a view of Tivoli Village and the patio.
Our disappointment was accentuated when we noted that the initial table we were ushered to had untidy seats adorned with crumbs and debris. Although a male Hispanic bus person eventually came into view, no assistance was offered, prompting my personal request for a cloth to clean the seats.
Subsequent to the seat-cleaning episode, my friend and I opted to change tables. Requesting a male food server to facilitate our relocation to a table near the window was met with a discourteous insistence that I approach the host stand personally for the table change. This lack of initiative and failure to meet expected standards was not reflective of The Cheesecake Factory's usual hospitality.
We eventually secured a different table with a female server named Amanda, who took our orders without the use of paper. Regrettably, this server exuded an impolite and unenthusiastic demeanor during the introduction and order-taking process, characterized by a rushed and indifferent attitude, along with a lack of patience.
To our dismay, the presence of flies around our table was notable, suggesting a lapse in management's oversight of guest well-being and service quality.
Adding to our disappointments, our order took an extended 30 minutes to materialize, only to be delivered by male food runners. To exacerbate matters, one of the young Caucasian food runners accidentally dropped my friend's fork without any effort to retrieve it or provide a replacement.
Upon departing the establishment, no farewell gesture was extended from the host stand. Instead, a group of female hosts and a female manager stood with indifferent expressions, entirely overlooking our departure. This substandard experience failed to align with the expected hospitality standards at The Cheesecake Factory in the Summerlin Area, where guests should consistently encounter a welcoming atmosphere characterized by...
Read moreThe worst. I never thought that cheesecake factory would stoop To such low standards. From Manager to Hostess to Bartenders to even cooks. A bunch of complete Unprofessionals. We have made reservations for a big party.(It was a company gathering) And when we got to the host she said that Big parties like ours were not able to be accommodated, and she left it at that. We walked away and the manager was there to witness it all and did not rectify her answer Nor her attitude. Because the individual who setup the reservation was coming we knew we had the upper hand because we knew we had verified the reservation prior to showing up. Reservation was made with one of the managers by the name of( Adam or Alex ) -cant remember- And finally, the manager decided to take action and set up a table for us. Instead of from the beginning say "we do not see the reservation however let us prepare it for you.) It was not 3,4,5 ,6 it was 10 of us. While we waited for a table to be set up, We went to the bar and the bartenders seemed to be bothered by every single order that we placed. Their body languague was awful. Not welcoming at all. How can we help you attitude. Nothing! Welcome, what are we having.? We got the drinks with no straw and when we asked she rolled her eyes. IT WAS THE WORSE. I thought it was just me because i know the game. I worked for 17 years in the food industry from dishwasher to waiter to Manager. I know what to expect. The only thing that was pleasent was our waiter. Names Manager - James Host - Diana Bartenders Amanda and Jessica (I asked a runner for their names so if they are wrong i apologize.)
Ps I went back to talk to the bartender about a drink that was overly sour and asked politely to remake(again i know the game and thats why i was polite about it. Nobody wants to remake orders. Nobody.) We went back and forth and told me that they follow recepies and that it will taste the same and finally i told her. "I'll take the risk" you never argue with a customer. You just get it done. The food was all over the place. Food was late and the Mashed potatoes were so bad. I am gonna stop because this is way too long already.A complete Failure
Last thing. U never tell a customer that they can order a drink with the waiter. If a customer wants to order at the bar he can order at the bar. This Cheesecake Factory was THE...
Read moreLet me first start off by saying this Cheesecake Factory was one of the most unwelcoming I have ever visited. I have never in my life been treated the way this restaurant treated me this night. A week before the dinner, we called this restaurant and mentioned that we had a party of 11 celebrating for work. They were immediately rude and mentioned we don’t accommodate groups over 6. We had 3 people try to explain to them how important this was and we were brushed off. Finally, as the store manager of my establishment… I decided to give it a try. I spoke to a manager. I believe his name was Adam or Alex and I told him our experience with calling and trying to set a reservation. He mentioned that he needed to look at the schedule and came back on the phone to mention he got us a reservation but he was going to be working on the morning shift that day but we were all set for 9. On Saturday, my party shows up at 9 and immediately the host dismissed us. She mentioned she doesn’t see a reservation and acted like she didn’t want to help. I spoke to the manager on duty and mentioned that they needed to figure it out. The guy was like there is no reservation, we don’t accommodate large groups but give him 7 mins. We went to sit at the bar and when I tell you I don’t know who trained your staff. Everyone at that establishment was very unprofessional, no smiles, no sense of customer service. One of the bartenders even looked annoyed and said sarcastically that she “loves her job.” This whole staff needs to be retrained on how to treat your paying customers. Despite y’all don’t accommodate large crowds, in which your website explains differently. We had money to spend, we tip very well, and for the first time ever I left no tips to the bartenders. They did not want to serve us. The host and manager did not want to seat us. Everyone was very annoyed that we were there. The only person who treated us like customers was your server “Wolfgang.” He was the ONLY reason we stayed. On top of that, the food took an hour to come out and it was very cold. We were so ready to go, we decided not to complain and give y’all $700 with no problems. Also, we spent about $500 at the bar. Have some decency for your customers and act like you want to be there even if you don’t or find another job! This Cheesecake Factory will never get our...
