We had an awful experience unfortunately. We picked this hotel because it advertised an indoor pool, which we wanted for our young kids. Unfortunately, not only is the pool not heated and water feels nearly ice cold, more importantly, THE POOL ROOM ITSELF IS NOT HEATED. You absolutely cannot swim in there in offseason, it would be unsafe due to low temperature in the water and room. This clearly seems to be false advertising, however asking the hotel manager, they state that the website does not mention it is heated. But certainly it is misleading in that if you advertise an indoor pool, it is assumed that it is at least swimmable year round in safe temperatures. After discovering all this, we tried to check out immediately, wanting to change to a hotel that did have a functional pool. It was 2pm when we went straight to the desk from the pool area, still in our swimming suits, however they stated they would NOT reimburse us for the COMING NIGHT because we had already passed check out time! Which we had only barely missed as it was early afternoon. I explained profusely all the circumstances, we had checked in at midnight the night before and we’re just now getting to the pool, and came to check out as soon as we realized it was not swimmable (due to their false advertising I might add). I talked with the manager twice by phone, and she was just completely immovable. I also had Expedia talk with her via phone, I put nearly two hours into getting our money back. The hotel manager still refused to refund me for that coming evening, even given all those circumstances that I (and Expedia) were thoroughly explaining to her. Finally after all of it, she gave me 50% back for that coming evening (keeping 50% of that night’s charge even though we were leaving in the middle of the afternoon and wouldn’t be sleeping there). I have just never felt so disrespected and taken advantage of by a business. I do certainly understand there are check out time rules, but given all these factors, and not to mention the way the hotel was advertised - I just don’t know what to say and can’t believe we were made to pay for 50% of the coming night. Even worse than being ripped off, it just felt like I was being disrespected on a human level, like I had no value as a human being. That is just not a way to treat another person.

I see the hotel manager responds to these reviews, which I can appreciate. However I have talked with her quite a bit already, so I would like to ask her to please not answer unless she does decide to refund us. Wyndham or Expedia are also welcome to step in. I would also suggest to the hotel that it might consider if changes should be made to the way the indoor pool is advertised, so that future patrons are not put in this...

I would not give one star if zero was available. This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever had to stay at. I am shocked it carries the Days Inn logo. I don't think I will ever stay at a Days Inn again if this is the standards they permit. Shower - LOTS of mold on tile and around shower mat. Missing tiles around commode. Fridge - dirty. Microwave - looked like some food packet had exploded in there. Bugs visable in room. You get three stained towel per room regardless of how many guests are booked. You have to go ask for more and they give you exactly two. Mold in pool area. Pool smells really bad. Mold on furniture surrounding pool area. Fire Hazard - behind TV unit, multiplug with about seven things going into it - including microwave. If you try to use microwave, fuse blows. Another trip to customer service. By the way, you are an inconvenience to their TV or dinner - not a guest. I would have moved immediately to another hotel, but due to a fair in town, there was absolutely nothing available and I was there for a wedding - couldn't leave. Went to a nearby walmart - spent close to$100 on lysol spray, sheets to cover up beds etc. Nasty Nasty Nasty. Don't stay here. I spoke to other guest who all had identical types of problems with their rooms. I did not get a lemon, I got the norm for this hotel. Oh, and the chairs in the rooms had so many stains on them I wouldn't let anyone sit on them till I covered them with sheets - once again walmart ! I stayed there...

Aug. 2016, After I drove 15 hrs w 4 stops n more than 3 kids, I checked reviews decided ...stay here, rooms were musty, bathrooms, sheets, floor carpet, could a been much cleaner came down for breakfast I used a small bag cause I was feeding 5, but I only took 2 biscuits, 3 oranges, 3 muffins, half egg, 8 slices bacon, 2 waffles etc. No juices..This poor rude Indian lady, tells Im.making the waffles wrong, no gud morning, how can I help, I never responded, too tired, then she asked me for my room number, as If I snuck in from the streets, I neva thought discrimination from an Indian and I am Black, she neva asked the other races, there rm number, I lost my appetite call down to mngt in a calm and professional manner, asked if there was a food policy, there was not...my fam. Member heard her talking about taking 5 biscuits etc. So, I approached, her GM was her Indian husband, I knew I would not win..gas station guy told me racism was bad down here..but pretends that there is none..from up North but its out right but neva imagined ...the only person singled out amongst all the rest whites..BLACK people don't stay here....skip this place All people they serve a little.racism.on the side with there eggs...sign should read not free continental breakfast but 1 biscuit per black family...per room here at...Racist Days Inn...corporate was next to call aw well..the public should know..if Days Inn cant afford some fruit and powdered eggs..shut down...holiday express is much better go there people...my. next stay.. 0...

What can I say! You get what you pay for. Picked the hotel for price, location, indoor pool and free breakfast! It meet 3.5 of these. The price was reasonable in comparison to hotels near by with its amenities. It was in a good location for our visit. It did have an indoor pool however, it was not worth it due the fact that the water was freezing and I was informed that it was not a heated pool. The problem was the room was cold as well. Just a thought if you're going to have an indoor pool at least have it in a warm room or heated so people could in enjoy it all year/weather. Breakfast was ok could have been better. Food was running out way before cut off time yet no one refilled trays. The reason for the 2 stars room was old and outdated which is normally not a problem but the cracks and hole could have at least been patched up. There was a roach in our room and I placed the sign to have my room cleaned because my sheets needed changing do to a dried up blood stain that I found and no one cleaned it. My sister however put the do not disturb sign up and yet her room was cleaned!! And forget about bringing anything their attention because the young man on duty while we were there was useless. So I give it 2 for location which that get automatically and price. But beware you get what you pay for!!

My stay on 10/13/2022. Let me preface this post with this: I travel almost every weekend and stay at mostly 2 star hotels. I have never made a negative post about a hotel. I've seen some things in my 29 years of travel but this one wins the ticket. I saw some bad reviews about roaches and thought, what they heck, I'll give it a go. I saw some medium sized ones, then adult ones, then babies, then larvae! German cockroaches. Obviously they live there because it was all life stages. I'm willing to give this a go and lay down to sleep when I feel itchy. Giant blisters on my arms, neck and legs. There was a bed bug in each pillow! I have never seen a bed bug in 29 years of travel for my work until this weekend at this hotel. I went down to the front desk and explained my situation, telling him that I will sleep in my van and to not charge me. He said "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." Do not stay here until the entire place is shut down and fumigated!!!

The room appeared clean, but a closer look saw a few details that I noted. Big gross stains on the carpet. I worried it was bodily fluids Gross dirty shower ceiling Look at the pics Broken bathroom door, in more than 1 place. Random holes in the walls and bad patches. Lots of stains on the walls too, needs a proper cleaning. No clothes rack, looks like it belongs where some of the holes are. I would have preferred to at least hang my clothes. Indoor Pool was not open, and I was not told until after I booked. They said it may be open if the weather was good. I held out hope, I booked because of the indoor pool, and sadly, it was never open. They were doing some maintenance while we were there, and that was noisy and wet. Hopefully they will get the indoor pool going, it's the only reason I booked.
