Keep your shoes on! Floors stay wet with condensation! Management is aware of the problem but rents the rooms, without warning guests. It is a FALL/TRIP HAZARD! We checked in early and the lady at the front desk was very nice. She said it would be about 20 minutes till the room was ready. We had no problem with that and went for lunch while they were finishing the room. Everything looked good when we opened the door. We noticed the floor was wet but we figured that was because it had just been mopped right before we checked it. We were able to park right in front of our 1st floor room! We brought in our things, changed clothes and left for the State Fair! And our hotel was close by. We returned the floor was still wet so we used the hotels white towel to wipe up the water. It was nasty dirty afterward...pictured. Also found a bandaid on the bathroom floor. We ended up with towels on the floor to walk on or climb across stuff. Management solution...$20 taken off my bill. I would check with the Econo lodge if you need to stay at this exit.

While it was obvious that attempts have been made to update the rooms, there was mold and details about the room that will keep me from staying here in the future. The staff was excellent and the room WAS clean; but it was so humid in the room (for some reason) that our clean clothes (hung up in provided space) were damp when we put them on. Considering a cost of $90, the state of the place should have had the price closer to $70 or less even. Noise from traffic cannot be helped because of its proximity to I40. All, and I mean ALL, fixtures and furniture need to be replaced. Shower curtain rod falling down. We stayed in room 103.

Im literally here right now sleeping in my car. Im in TN for 2 weeks for work this is only my second night. Yesterday a maintenance man came to my room to spray to "keep bugs away". Woke up at 5 a.m to use the bathroom and when I turned the light on about 10 roaches scattered. So I took my phone flashlight around the rest of the room amd they were literally everywhere. Called the front desk said manager wouldnt be in until 8a.m it's now 8:32a.m and no said manager has arrived. I am definitely changing hotels after talking to this apparent manager. Strongly do not recommend. It's not worth a cheap night's stay!!!

First, I'm almost to the room and the money for the room comes out of my bank account. I'm fine with that. I already paid. So I thought. Get to the hotel, the lady tells me that it didn't take the money out of my account and I am showing her my bank information saying that it actually did take it out of my account, but she started yelling at me in front of other customers and telling me if I didn't pay, I couldn't stay. So I had almost enough left in my bank to pay her again, but also had to give her the 20 in my pocket that I intended to leave for the church I was visiting the next day. I needed a place to stay, so I had to pay it. So after paying double and literally have 17 dollars left in my account (thank God I brought credit cards with me because this hotel would have literally left me stranded five hours from home if it were up to them), I get to my room that smells entirely of weed. Disgusting. I got on the phone with choice hotels who gave me 250 points for my trouble; I mean, thanks, but doesn't get me home or give me back my 130 dollars. Wasn't their fault anyway. Choice Hotels is actually pretty great. I just didn't know who else to call or how to take care of this (I will be on the phone with my bank when they re-open). Try to go to sleep at this point, but the neighbors wanted to bang around on I don't know what the entire night, so sleep wasn't great. Wake up the next day, my son goes, what's that? There's an outlet with my blanket laying literally almost right on top of it that doesn't have a plate on it. So there's just a bare outlet that could have caught on fire and fried me in my sleep. I have stayed at this hotel twice before and didn't really have any problems other than the bath not working the last time I stayed. The previous two times I stayed, they only charged me once. So obviously I wasn't expecting to be charged twice. I brought this to the attention of the lady working in the morning; along with the outlet that was bare and she got really nasty with me as well. I tried very hard to be nice about it. These people are mean, rude and CHARGE YOU TWICE. Thank God I didn't catch on fire and burn up in my sleep. I'd like to have my money back. Place wasn't worth 20 dollars let alone 260! Miserable stay. Miserable people working there. God forgive me, but it's the truth. Looks like I'll have to find another place to stay when I'm down...

I was a late check-in that turned out to be even later due to weather. I booked a NON SMOKING room on-line through booking.com. I didn't check-in until 12:30am. I get up to the room and noticed a smell. It reeked of smoke. I call front desk and they have no rooms available to move me to. I needed to be back on the road by 7am to continue my road trip. I was back up and in the shower by 6am. The steam in the room is now causing the urine smell to get worse. The steamier the room get the worse it got causing my eyes to burn. I complained before I checked out to management. Granted they did take $10 off of my bill that really only turned out to be about $5 because our ALL of the extra charges. The magnet told me that he would call me later that day after he spoke to someone about my stay. He NEVER called me back until AFTER I contacted corporate office almost A WEEK LATER. I was told by the front desk lady after I stopped back by to see if anything was going to be done that since I didn't leave I wasn't going to get anything back of of my stay. After the manager called me back he told me that they weren't going to to anything because the charge had already gone through and he didn't call me back because upper management didn't get back to him. Calling corporate did NOTHING but create an Choice account too get me a free stay at another hotel. This place has POOR MANAGEMENT SKILLS. And VERY GRISS rooms. Had it not been so late checking in I wouldn't havestayed. Had the front desk person told me that ALL they had was a smoking room left before checking me in I would have went across the street to the other hotel. This could have ALL been avoided by management following up like he promised. But since they really don't care about costumer service/care you don't have to EVER worry about me staying here or at ANY OTHER Econo Lodge. If this is how you treat your costumers I want...

Room was ok but staff was extremely rude beyond belief! We spent alot of money were there with about 6 other groups for the championships with our dogs. Only could sleep one night! Had nasty drunk Russians guys all around us. Banging on doors felt so unsafe. Complained at least 20 times staff could care less. Said no manger was available. We actually called around to try and leave but all hotels were booked. We have pics of these drunk guys leaning over the railing outside my window peeing on one of our friends cars, they threw soda on our van window. Spilling liquor all over the floors outside our room I couldn’t as a women even feel safe taking my dogs out to pee. One even said FU TO me. At 2,3,4,5 am we kept calling the long hair large guy who was working the front desk. Who came up to the 6pr 7 of them saying it’s not me it’s them right there in these rooms complaining! Told us to call the cops. It was disgusting. We had a 16 hour drive hour with no sleep. Upon checking out girl said oh here the info for the manager his name is Kevin he will give you a refund. I’m so sorry. Well never heard anything we called at least 7 times. Today the same rude girl said stop calling he’s not available and you’re not getting anything. I said what’s your name she said I’m not giving you any name click and hung up! So disgusting! I’ve filed a complaint with the organizers of the event who said they will talk to the owner and I called corporate also. If we don’t get a full refund I will have our attorney file a complaint. Run don’t go anywhere...
