Stayed here with our pet, lady knocked on the door and proceeded to yell at me because I had a pet, we checked in without our pet (moving to new house) and we decided to stay another night, so went and got our dog and notified the person running the desk that we was bringing our dog, ok not a problem. Next morning the lady (manager maybe) came up and asked if I had a pet and I said yes and that I spoke with the gentleman last night about it when we paid for another day, she then stated that animals are supposed to be placed on the main floor not upstairs because of customers with let allergies, didn't know this, the guy the night before never mentioned it nor said we have to switch rooms or anything, so we check out places all trash by the trash can, a few pieces of paper trash, wrappers or whatever, candy wrappers from the kiddo lol, check out all is good. Well had to do plumbing fixes and decided to come here, always. Nice and friendly, good rooms, good prices, all Goof right, wrong! As wife and I are walking to their overpriced vending machines for a candy bar the lady stops us in the middle of the hallway and asks us we are staying here, well my smart ass mouth no not at all just wanted a tour lol. She then proceeds to tell us we are on the do not stay list in the system? News to me, checked in just fine, so i ask why what is wrong and then in proceeded to be told that we left the room a DISASTER and there were stains on the chairs, (plastic chairs btw NOT CLOTH, NOR WERE THERE EVEN SAT IN DURING OUR TIME HERE THEN) I am looking at her like I'm a moron at this point because I know for a fact how I left the room, even have pictures of the condition when we left, just something I do for situations like this, she then gets upset because out of 80 dollars the guy who checked us in this time just let the 16 and some change be our deposit, no biggie right, wrong once again! She demanded 20 bucks or we could not stay here and would have to.leave, keep.in mind the only monetary difference is what roughly $3.xx amount? She hands me my 16.xx change and demands I go get her a 20 dollar bill or we would have to leave immediately, not to mention slamming my 16.xx on the counter! Horrible attitude, just utterly uncalled for, if I do something or make a mistake u own up to it being a bussiness owner I travel all.over the U.S. and was going to set up a corporate account with this company, well not now, called a liar, targeted, probably because I'm white and they are indian, rude comments and hostility...great job #motel6 #customerservicesucks #discriminated #threatened needless to say im calling corporate in the morning... and looking for recommendations for a new hotel.who.doesnt treat paying customers who spend alot of money like trash! Read moreNon positive review: Hair dryer plug at sink wouldn't work even after socket reset, the shower had pink residue on the sides of the shower in the floor, assumingly from the previous guest or maybe it was cleaning solution that was never cleaned up. On the light switches near the sink, and it was hard to determine if it was coffee dirt or blood. I am a nurse in the operating room so I am well versed in what blood looks like especially dried. The TV does not have a sleep timer the pillows are extremely hard and created headaches each night so I suggest bringing your own pillow if you're able. There is no elevator in this two level Hotel which luckily was not a problem for me but was for others. The only Vending is in the main lobby and was not able to find any ice machine. The sheets had a black burn mark in it on arrival, but for the price in the location available it was okay. At check-in they were unable to process my credit card for whatever reason so I ended up using my debit card which ended up causing me to use the money for our event to pay for the hotel. I don't know why you just cannot charge to the credit card that was on the original booking in the event the desk clerk cannot get their machine to work. I was nearly stranded 5 and 1/2 hours away from home because of a technical issue in your system. This is an annual event in this area and I will not use this facility next year which was a complete sellout this year. There was also a used toothpaste cap in the drain of the sink with no plunger. Anytime you ran water, all you can do wait for water to go down around said cap or the sink would fill up. There was no do not disturb sign for door. I did not open the folding couch. The TV is no way 40 inches! At least not in room 220. There was no form of compensation for the issues in room and obvious dirt-coffee-blood in all light switches. Was afraid to even touch...
Read moreChecked in: 08/31/2017 Checked out: 09/01/2017 Motel 6--4947 I woke up and had what appears to be ring worm so I went to talk to the man at the front desk and he said they will have to check it out. I said what shall I do he said he did not know as they got to check it out. I ask how long and he said he had no idea. I then ask for corporate phone number and he tells me to call him that I don't need corporate's number. After arguing for a few minutes about not giving me the number he says here and yells the number at me I said hold on a second can I borrow a pen and he tells me "NO". OK I called back at 15:34 hrs today and I talk to the owner or manager, he stated they looked in the room and did not see anything. I then ask if he knew what ring worm was, which he did not. I then told him that it is a fungus that if someone that is infected with it and would like sit on the couch that was in that room or the bed comforter or even one of the chairs and then someone else came in contact with it, that is how its spread. So all his solution is asking me not to call corporate and he would refund my card the money for the room. I am really not sure what type of people you let in your chain or the type of house cleaning rules you have for your motels but I want you to know that it sucks or they are not following them. I did witness them not taking the comforters off the beds; they were changing the sheets and reusing the comforter. I really hope this is an isolated event and all your motels are not ran like this one.
