This past weekend the stars seemed to have aligned for me in the way of getting the bed I have been wanting for the last 3-5 years. I was extremely fortunate in my timing and place to have picked the Mattress Firm location that Minoo manages while out visiting my mother in Leesburg.

Not only was the store running the deal of the year on the very bed manufacturer that I was intending to buy, but Minoo was closing out the weekend when I walked in to an empty store. Perfect timing for me to get some very personal and extremely beneficial immediate attention. And this did not change as a couple of other buyers walked in through out her helping me; thank you for that, Minoo.

With almost two decades of experience in selling beds, it was no surprise that Minoo ended up being the perfect person to help me find the perfect bed for my next decade of life and rest.

As someone with several past injuries due to a lifetime of extreme sports, the right bed has been an utter necessity for me the last nine to ten years; ensuring my body will get as much quality rest as possible after my continuing physical demands of it in my day to day. Minoo is the first bed salesperson who I have encountered (and who I would actually call an expert) that actually both understands and cares about the needs of you and how to fulfill them in the perfect match in a bed. She gave me the full run down from pillows to mattress type and adjustable platform features while we shared our understanding of sleep habits, comfort, pros and cons and the like. Normally this just seems like the typical sales routine that you encounter at a mattress or car or even home retailer. The difference with Minoo is that her intentions clearly emanate from a place of genuine care.

As someone who has been plagued with poor quality of sleep due to my injuries and even borderline sleep apnea problems in years past, I have done a lot of reading, studies and research to rectify my issues. Minoo’s knowledge complimented and even exceeded my own in this regard and it was a genuine pleasure and privilege to have her help guide me through the process of finding the perfect setup for me.

What has generally taken me four to six hours of time spent alone in a mattress store in the back and forth testing of beds was accomplished with Minoo in about two hours. I had never completed the mattress firm questionnaire to help zero in on what type of mattress is best for me based on sleeping habits, position, comfort, etc; but ultimately the reports summation was dead on accurate. Despite having a clear indicator from the guide, Minoo was extremely helpful and patient as she urged me to test out a few other options to ensure that I was getting the perfect fit. This is something I have always done on my own, regardless of the attention or lack thereof by past salespeople. But Minoo was one step ahead in guiding this process for me without having to ask or pursue it on my own. Again, it was clear she genuinely wanted to ensure that I was going to get the exactly perfect bes for my needs.

To round this out without further verbiage, I can not stress enough to you; as a future potential client, that you need look no further for where and who to to go for your next bed. Minoo is your gal. Drive the hour plus distance from your home like I did and she will guide you to the perfect bed. To the perfect, quality rest that you deserve and need at the end of every day. Even though beds are an infrequent purchase in our year to year lives, I will be recommending Minoo to anyone that I know to make that the trip to see her for their future beds. Especially those who are like me, and must have the right fit in a bed in order to keep their body happy and healthy.

This is my 2nd time reviewing Mattress Firm at this location - and my review is equally glowing as the first - which was one year ago. I worked with Minoo once again, and like last time, she was wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable, very patient and took her time with me as if I was the only customer in the store. However, I was not the only person in the store and each time a new customer came in through the door, Minoo seamlessly divided her attention, as needed. I never felt like she wasn’t giving me enough of her time - nor did I at any point feel like she was hovering. Which brings me to the biggest point I want to make. I was deciding between two mattresses - with a $2,000+ price difference. There would be plenty of sales people out there that would do everything in their power to lead me towards the more expensive mattress. This is NOT the case with Minoo. There was no pressure at all and she supported my decision (which was the lower priced mattress) making the whole experience a lot less stressful. If you are in the market for a new mattress - look no further - just go here. Thank you, once again, Minoo!

PREVIOUS REVIEW from 2021: If I could give a six star review, I would! I did my homework first by researching mattress stores in the area - and then went to this specific location based on the numerous positive reviews this store received - specifically Minoo and Sean. I was grateful to meet Minoo upon entering the store - and right away, I could see why she was getting those positive reviews. There was NO pressure - I repeat - NO pressure in this process from start to finish. She immediately recognized and respected my budget - as I was shopping for 2 full size mattresses for my twin daughters. She showed me options with various price points - and then assured me that the lower price option would best suit my needs, and my daughters’ needs for the long term. Why can’t all sales professionals be like Minoo?! She moved swiftly with the order while making every effort to get me the very best pricing on all pieces - which included box springs and bed frames for each mattress. And the added bonus - I was in and out of the store in 1 hour. If delivery (which is free for my order) goes this well - I will certainly be returning for any future mattress purchases. ...

Beware of this place. Especially if you are buying from their outlet (which is supposed to be their refurbished product warehouse). We were there in this store back in Feb 2022 and had ordered an adjustable base and a king mattress from their outlet , which their sales expert were able to help us find. A few days later, we were delivered the wrong size (California King instead of King). Fortunately for us, we had ordered a King size bed frame beforehand from another store and the base that came from Mattress Firm didn't fit into it. Otherwise, we wouldn't have even bothered to check the size of the frame and would have assumed that its King size. We returned the item upon knowing that the base size was wrong.

Recently(Apr 2023), we were mattress-hunting again and unfortunately ended up with the same sales "expert" again (yeah, because it was past one year and we could not even recognize the lady. we got to know that we were talking to the same person only a while into the conversation) and she helped us with finding a "refurbished" adjustable base from their outlet again( our biggest mistake in the last 10 years or so) and gauranteed that its the best base you can get on the planet for that price. Fast forward to the day of delivery. Boom . it happens again. This time - an adjustable base with a broken piston. This place has a 4.9 on 5 review . With that kind of customer service, I highly doubt that those are all paid reviews. We learned the lesson the hard way. No more Mattress Firm in our entire life. From our experience, I can only tell you one thing. Stay away from this place. Save yourself your precious...
